This Starbucks had a decent experience overall. Everything was good, but the service was just okay. When I placed my order, I inquired about using my rewards program right before she asked for my name. Unfortunately, she informed me that I should have mentioned it before ordering, and she hadn't communicated that earlier. I usually don't visit this location; I prefer the one on Antonio. However, since my wife wanted bagels, I decided to stop by to pick up our coffee. Everything was going well until I got home and realized we were shorted on three of our coffee orders. I wish the staff member, who was Asian, had filled our cups to the top like they do at other stores. You expect tips, but it seems like the service isn’t consistent. Perhaps if your six or seven employees spent less time chatting and focused on their tasks, these details wouldn’t be overlooked. Thanks for the inconsistency, but I won’t be returning. Keep up the poor service!

I had an unusual experience with the staff during my visit today. Upon reviewing my receipt, I realized I was charged for three bread items, even though I only ordered two. When I returned to request a refund for the extra charge, the staff member commented, “I saw you leave with two bags.” I acknowledged that, but I pointed out I hadn’t taken three. It struck me as quite rude to be blamed for their mistake; a simple “I’m sorry” would have been enough. Typically, I tip generously when my order is correct, but unfortunately, that hasn’t happened during my visits to this Ladera location.
