"I used to come to Starduster all the time back in the early 2010 's when my family and I moved to Monmouth, and always remembered the service and food being amazing. I haven 't been back for a couple of years since the food seemed to go downhill, but after reading reviews it is confirmed I will never be visiting again. I am appalled at how defensive and aggressive the owner is when responding to comments. Someone commented about how the chicken fried steak has little meat, and she literally said well we buy it from the store and have no control over what they put in it , girl what?? Every response from the owner has been very, very defensive and just immature. Sad the Starduster isn 't what it used to be :"

Awesome place! Portions were great, the food was fresh and so tasty. It's a smaller place and popular, so be prepared to wait a short time, especially on weekends and wait, as it's worth it! Chicken fried steak is most likely the best I've ever had. View menu

I’m telling you the food was amazing!!!! We had the #1 I had the best cooked corned beef hash and both of us crunchy hash brown’s, and it’s probably the only place in Oregon that knows how to cook an egg properly (all the whites cooked)! Please oh please open a location near the Roseburg OR airport!!!! I wish I could have eaten it all!

We love going to the Starduster, just 15 miles up the road, for a great breakfast that will satisfy they hungriest logger or pilot! The breakfasts are large, but I managed to eat most of my Cherry crunch French toast. My party of six ordered omelettes, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and French toast specialties and all were very satisfied. We enjoyed watching planes and ultralights land and take off as we always do.
