Stargazer Inn Bristlecone General Store

Just stopped at the general, didn’t stay at hotel, but the store is really cute, has a small selection of groceries, books, nic nacks, beer/wine, gear and accessories.

our room was great! it had everything we needed. liz is an amazing host. her general has a funny compassion, with a great selection of objects that I did not expect in such a small town. she even shared her DVD collection with us!

The staff at this restaurant are truly observant, the ambiance is dark and impressive, and the people are fantastic! After staying for one night and speaking with the owner Liz, Stargazer Inn has become my go-to spot in Eastern Nevada. I highly recommend it! View menu

This charming little general store is located in the park. I didn't stay at the motel, but I believe it is just as welcoming. The store offers trendy products from the local region, as well as food, coffee, and other essentials for travelers. I highly recommend stopping by here.

A great place to stay and relax while in baker, NV, and visiting Great Basin National Park! Friendly and helpful staff! Easily seen from main road. Wi-Fi, refrigerator, coffee and other stuff needed at connecting store. Nearby restaurants for dining. Convenient to near national park.

Wow. What a surprise! I’m expecting Cheetos and Mountain Drew but this store got great healthy snacks selection. It’s in the middle of NV, out of nowhere and you think you’re in Whole Foods. The owner( was pleasant and sweet. You might think you’re in Trump Country but I’ve noticed the rainbow decor for the Pride month. Two thumbs up for that. View menu

A traveler's sanctuary outside of Great Basin NP! The owner Liz has cultivated a welcoming, charming environment in the heart of Baker, NV. I was relieved to find healthy snacks, drinks, and even camping/outdoor necessities at reasonable prices. Cool off inside at the coffee bar or relax out back in the beautiful garden in the many Adirondack chairs. The staff (especially miss Rachel are so kind and welcoming and made me feel right at home. This is a very special spot!

What a cozy gem in a remote place. Cute, extremely well-stacked general store too! You can find all kinds of special goodies like Impossible burger meat, soy and almond milk, Amy canned soups, Thai/Indian instant meals, high-end energy bars and even some delicious mushroom jerky. Great book selection too. All owners/employees are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are cozy and comfortable with everything you might need. I had no issue with road noise or neighbor noise. Would be such a nice place to hang out on a warmer day.

This place is fantastic! The owner is incredibly kind and the rooms are clean and modern. The general store nearby is adorable and cozy, selling wine, beer, organic food, snacks, and coffee. Bingo night was a blast and the place had everything you could need and more. I will definitely be returning. The rooms were clean and modern, with no television which I loved. There was a hot water kettle for tea or coffee. The great basin is only a 20-minute drive away for nearby activities. The food and drinks at the general store were excellent - as a vegan, I was able to get a tofu scramble for breakfast and they even had a microwave available to heat it up.
