State 48 Lager House

The menu offers a great variety of options for their daily lunch special, available from 11 AM to 3 PM. They feature a limited selection of salads, plated meals, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and desserts. The beverage menu is quite appealing, featuring a range of different beers and drinks.

This place is amazing. I came here with my family and everything was perfect from food, beer, service and atmosphere. My children played with the great Jenga on the terrace, when my cuddle tried a flight of beer and my pregnant self enjoyed a three-headed meal where everything was delicious. The Royale with cheese is a must.

The server was fantastic—quick, friendly, and efficient. The greeting could have been quicker, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy. We were told to sit wherever we liked. While the food wasn’t exceptional, it was fresh and served hot. The menu and dishes were similar to the previous restaurant. I've visited this restaurant twice now. On my first visit, I ordered wings along with a couple of their beers. Both beers were fantastic, and I decided to try the Chipotle Hibiscus glazed wings, which were absolutely delicious! The next day, I came back and tried their roasted Brussels sprouts and the Pilzburger. So far, I am really impressed with everything, including the excellent service!

The wings were delicious! The service was excellent Brandon was our waiter and it was hands down the best service we have received anywhere he was attentive and stayed aware of our drinks and was very patient when we ordered (3 kids so ordering is a process) hopefully this place knows what a great asset he is he stayed busy cleaning and fixing tables while still making sure we had everything we needed! Thank you Brandon!

It's clear that the management at State 48 Surprise, particularly Tracy, truly values their customers and goes above and beyond to ensure you keep returning. Within just a couple of minutes of being seated, we received our menus and our favorite craft beer was served promptly. While many restaurants struggle to prepare a medium-rare burger correctly, that's not the case here! The fries are exceptional, and the Reuben sandwich is also a top choice. If you still have room after your meal, I definitely recommend trying the chocolate cake! View menu

Well as expected state 48 once again delivered on good food and good beer. I ordered a flight; golden ale, German Pilsner, AK 48 Russian imperial stout, and Phx porter. Don’t know that I would get the golden ale again gout the other 3 were incredible with the AK-48 being my favorite. First time ordering cauliflower wings anywhere and man am I glad we ordered them here, sucks for the next restaurant though as state 48 set the bar high. The disco fries reminded us of a poutine though they are not a poutine. They are delicious though and perfect for sharing. Would definitely recommend these menu options

Out of the many locations, the Lager House is bright and colorfulI enjoy all of the State 48 locations. Each one is big, open and has good patio space. The Lager House location on Hayden in Scottsdale is on the traffic circle by the Harley Davidson and GO AZ Motorcycle shops. This makes for more traffic noise but also an interesting bustling car and motorcycle watching spot. Also, not only does it have a large patio, but it is a double story.Pictured food is the pretzels with beer cheese and the beer cheese burger. This is another location of Condition 48, but what sets it apart is that this is where much of the beer is actually brewed. The brewing equipment is prominently displayed in a glass structure, both from the outside and inside. The interior offers plenty of seating, and there’s a large terrace outside with additional upper-level seating, similar to some other State 48 locations. However, you may notice some traffic noise from the nearby roadway. The food here is comparable to other State 48 locations.
