"I recently started working at Wakeman, and it was my first time ordering from there. I wasn't feeling well, so I decided to get some soup for my lunch break. I drove over, but I realized I had forgotten my wallet at work. To my surprise, they allowed me to take the soup based solely on my word that I would return the next day to pay. (And I did go back and pay!) I couldn't believe it—even while I was eating, it felt surreal. I'm really grateful for their kindness! And yes, the soup definitely made me feel better."

A charming little hometown diner. While we were there, a few customers had to leave suddenly due to an emergency. Their beepers went off, and they left in a hurry. The waitress kept their plates warm and took care of one guy's children, which was really nice to see. The breakfast was quite good as well.
