"I discovered this charming little restaurant after seeing a food photo on Facebook. I had passed by it countless times without giving it much thought, assuming it only served desserts. However, I decided to stop by for breakfast yesterday and ordered the Mexican Omelet. It was delicious! The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The decor is adorable and spotlessly clean, making me feel like I had stepped into a movie from the 1950s. The staff is friendly, and the service is quite fast. I will definitely return whenever I'm in the area, especially if I’m heading to the nearby Century 21."

The beef barley soup and the grilled mozzarella and bacon on multi-grain bread were absolutely superb. Their burgers are to die for!

I’ve purchased a milkshake from this place a few times, and I really love their milkshakes. The service is fantastic as well! I highly recommend it!

RTs never fails to impress! The food and service are excellent. My friends and I had an amazing time and will definitely be back in the future. By the way, the catfish and Melvin coconut cake are my top choices—absolutely delicious! View menu

Great discovery while we were in Brooklyn for a long weekend! Extremely fast, courteous service, great prices and amazing diner food; I particularly enjoyed their sausage choice, as well as their granola and Greek yogurt. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

We had a wonderful time at the restaurant! My husband, son, and his girlfriend all enjoyed ourselves immensely. Our favorite dish was the Jack Daniel shrimp, which came with a delicious sauce. We even saved some of the sauce to enjoy with the crab cakes. We definitely plan on returning! View menu

This neighborhood diner is incredibly underrated. I can't understand why people choose Pegasus when this gem is just a few blocks away. I had the waffles topped with banana and bacon, and they were perfectly fluffy and crispy! The service was excellent; we received the menus and water just two minutes after sitting down. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. This place definitely deserves to be more crowded than it was!

I absolutely love this place! I visited twice in one week. The decor is a charming old-fashioned ice cream parlor style from the 1950s. Both times, I ordered the grilled chicken souvlaki dinner, which includes a Greek salad and rice, and it was delicious. The shakes are also fantastic. You can find great deals on meal certificates at restaurant.com, which helps make the prices more affordable. It's a perfect spot to stop by before heading over to see the Christmas lights in Dyker Heights. Parking can be tricky, but there's a municipal lot conveniently located across the street.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
