"This place is truly a hidden gem! The bartender was fantastic and incredibly helpful. I absolutely loved his accent! Usually, bar food is only average, but here the food was delightful! They offer a wide selection of both beer and food. We tried the potato skins and shepherd's pie, and both were delicious! I also noticed others ordering salads and sandwiches, which looked amazing as well! There's a small patio area for some people-watching too. It was a bit warm and stuffy inside, but I hope they turn on the air conditioning during peak summer. I can’t wait to come back!"

I really enjoyed this place. I didn't eat there, but I had a few excellent glasses of Guinness while watching a hockey game. As a Canadian visitor, I was impressed by the Canadian hockey memorabilia on display. I definitely recommend checking it out!

But the food is surprisingly good, the Guinness flows freely, and the (assumed) owner treats everyone like they're a distant cousin (in a comfortable Irish way). This is a lovely pub-style venue that seems perfect for watching all kinds of sports. We visited before a performance at the civic theater and sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and frequently checked in on us. We ordered the Reuben with fries and shepherd's pie, both of which were delicious. I’ll definitely return when I’m in the area for a show or concert at the House of Blues.

No crazy stuff going on in here so safe for families, food was relatively well priced for the serving you got, wasn't left feeling hungry I can recommend the sandwiches and I was told the fish and chips were good also Good spot for an easy meal in downtown
