"The food is outstanding, however the service has so much to be even close to acceptable. We ordered 2 appetizers and our meal had a salad. The salad came, then before we could finish the appetizers arrived and we had barely taken a bite when our meal arrived. The appetizers did not get eaten because we had our meal to eat. Then my husband ordered a second beer and i a refill on my soda and the waiter was definitely put out by the extra work. So I guess the food is good enough to have poor service but next visit we will go elsewhere for sure. Oh no appetizer plate was given as well so we we're cutting the skins up on the plate it came on."

"Stopped at the Rockin R on our way home from rafting and fishing on the Sacramento River. This is one of those places that you hope you find when traveling. Outside looks like any other family restaurant. Inside, serious ranching stuff reflecting the local ranching tradition. This is a local place, the waitresses greeted most of the customers by name. Great food, appeared to all be made in house. The special on our visit was fried green tomatoes; wonderful crunchy cornbread crust. We came back for breakfast. My friend had the Motherload omlette. It was the largest plate of food I have ever seen. When I am in Red Bluff I will be eating there again. Check it out!"

"I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could! It’s the cleanest place I’ve ever visited, with a spotless kitchen and restrooms. The food quality is exceptional as well! It’s been a few months since my last visit due to traveling, but the owners, Carlos and Alba, recognized me immediately. That personal touch makes a huge difference and I’m sure it does for others too. There’s even a local who dresses in his finest attire just to dine here, even though there’s another restaurant in Red Bluff! I’ll make sure to take pictures next time."

"Absolutely the best breakfast I've enjoyed all summer! The home-style potatoes were seasoned with onions and bell peppers, cooked to perfection without being greasy. The restaurant is located inside a charming, western-themed shopping center, which can be a bit tricky to spot if you're driving at 50 mph on the bustling Antelope Blvd (the actual speed limit is 45 mph). I'm really looking forward to returning to try their lunch or dinner options. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I always love going to Bud's Jolly Kone. I've been going here as long as I can remember, and it has a special place in my heart. I love the fact that this is a Christian-based company, and they put Bible verses on the receipts. My favorite part is the milkshakes, which come in a large variety of flavors. I definitely recommend paying the extra amount to get a flavor off of the additional flavors menu. I like many of the flavors, but I do tend to fall back on the Brownie Batter flavor, so I guess I would call that my favorite. My dad's favorite is the Butterscotch flavor. My grandmother is disappointed, however, how when she asked about the Boysenberry flavor, they didn't know what she was talking about. Overall, amazing milkshakes! The burgers, however, I was a little disappointed about the last few times I went. I haven't been to Bud's in at least a year up until a few weeks ago, and I have since been there twice. In the special sauce on the burgers, there's a sweet flavor in it I'm not a huge fan of, and I don't remember it. I may be remembering wrong, and it's still good to eat if you're hungry, but I'm still pointing it out."
