"Extraordinary! Honestly, I am very impressed by their food and atmosphere. The fun positive vibe is infectious in the best way; it gets people off their feet and dancing near their own tables. My friends and I agreed this was one of the best meals we have had in a while. The baked Red Snapper is fantastic, so is the Lamb chop and the goat. The plantains are perfectly seasoned and fried and overall the food here just makes me so happy. They also have a really cool flaming"

This is a popular restaurant and is quite noisy. The food is excellent and is authentic Kenyan. I enjoyed the samosas and the tender lamb chops with jollof rice and cabbage cabeji.

They moved us to a new location and then I watched my drink sit at the bar for 20 minutes until the bar tender asked someone to take it to us, 5 different people looked at the drink and ignored it. We left after that. View menu

The food was delicious, and there was a lively atmosphere in the restaurant. While there were some mosquitoes at the entrance that need to be addressed, they didn't make their way into the dining area. The restrooms were clean as well. Overall, we had a wonderful experience! View menu

The decor is beautiful, and the artwork is impressive. However, the noise level is quite high, so if you're looking for a calm and intimate dining experience, this might not be the best choice. The food is enjoyable, making it a suitable option for a girls' night out or a casual date night. The dress code is relaxed but nice.

I must say, the food here is quite unique and definitely something you might need to get used to. However, it’s the atmosphere, the music, and the fantastic bartenders that really keep me coming back for more, especially the amazing 'Flaming Margarita'! Dave and Jessica are exceptional bartenders who always greet us with bright smiles and provide excellent service. Whenever I'm in DC, you can bet I'll be at Swahili Village as part of my weekend fun!
