"Great food! Very fresh. We tried their chicken chilly, dum biriyani, goat roganjosh, butter naan, matar paneer, plain dosa and butter milk. Absolutely loved their chicken dum biriyani! My 5 yr old had biriyani for the first time ever and yelled “yummy”. That’s reason enough for me to go back there! The service was extremely good. Our server was very attentive, and went over and beyond to help even before the need to call (unlike a lot of other places where we wait to call someone if we need something). A+ to the server."

"During my first visit, I was impressed by the overall decor and the helpfulness of the staff. After receiving my soup bowl, I headed to the self-serve soup station, which also offered additional condiments. When I sat down and sampled the chickpea and butternut soup, I was delighted with the flavors. Once I finished, I looked forward to trying the Peruvian chicken sandwich, and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be returning for lunch!"

"The maitre d ' was quite helpful in understanding the various dishes. We were there on a Friday night but still got plenty of attention from the maitre d ' and the rest of the wait staff. The restaurant was not too noisy, so conversations were easy to understand. We started with the papadam which came with a mint-cilantro sauce. We also split an appetizer of tandoori scallops. The papadam was very fresh and crispy but a little too salty. The scallops were undercooked (as usual, but we had asked that they be cooked more towards medium . The sauce accompanying the scallops was very bland, having almost no taste at all. We got a glass of the Edelzwicker wine, which is a not-too-sweet blend of riesling, gewurz and pinot gris. That is a good complement to the spicy entrees. Our main entrees were Chicken Tikka Masala the Chicken Biriyani. We had asked for a mild version of the biriyani but it was still pretty peppery. The raita helped lower the spice heat though. The chicken tikka masala was milder but the chicken itself was a little bit dry. The plain naan was very fresh and was a good way to get the last bits of the masala sauce."

"Really nice cozy place, and the one thing they have that no one else does, is an extremely good violin player who plays in the outdoor area. I've learned a little violin and this guy is *good* I've lived in San Jose for years now and the violin player here is far and away the best musician you can hear without paying $50 and up for a ticket. Yes, it's a wine bar but if you want your kid to have a good impression of violin-playing, take them to the outdoor patio here when Gabriel the violin player is doing his thing. It goes without saying that the coffee etc are to a high standard also."

"Have been getting takeout since moving nearby and just went to sit in last night. Happy to find it even better in person! Everything has been excellent, okra, eggplant, classic chicken tikka masala. The naan is fresh and fabulous. My only comment is the fried appetizers are a tad salty (samosa, pakora . But the samosa chaat at the restaurant and the papadum was fabulous. (And the sauces are great too! Update : It’s been a year and we have been regularly coming, everything is amazing!! Highly recommend."

"Great location, only two miles away from Stanford Campus. The food was unique, innovative and delicious! The prices were a bit high, the service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. We ordered: 3*Mango Lemonade: good, a bit sweet for me. 4*Black Pepper Mussels-salt-spring mussels with black pepper glaze: different than any mussels I have ever had. The black pepper sauce was too much at first, but quickly became addictive. Excellent if you like spicy food. 5*Roti Prata: crispy flatbread with yellow curry dip, a perfect combination. Must order bread for anyone. Soft and delicious! 3*Green Bean Sambal: Al dente blue lake beans with spicy sambal sauce, not that spicy. 4*Shrimp Pad Thai: traditional Thai noodle dish, big portions and good. 4.5*Pan Seared Sea-bass: Served with sautéed mushrooms, ginger, sweet onions bell peppers, longan, in rice wine sauce. Tender and crispy sea bass. Excellent! 5*Kueh Nagasari: like coconut rice pudding, we loved it. 3*Ginger Cake: per normal 5: Sesame Creme Brûlée: different and delicious!"

"With an extensive variety of dishes laid out on the buffet table, there are plenty to choose from to meet all your Indian dishes needs, here at Nirvana. We came in a Friday afternoon for the lunch buffet, 20 minutes after they opened. There was only one other table here, but the food looked promising and plentiful. There are around 15 main entrée dishes to choose from, including chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, goat curry, fish curry, chicken kebab, daal, cabbage, aloo gabi, palak paneer, kadhi pakora, pakora, okra, green beans with other veggies, lamb biriyani, chicken biriyani and two other rice dishes. See? Plentiful right??Unfortunately, there were only a few dishes that really stood out to me the palak paneer and the yellow vegetable curry. The paneer was some of the best I've had and the Kadhi pakora was something I've never had before. It was a pakora dunked in a spiced yogurt sauce, with the sauce being sour but super flavorful. The rice dishes were all good, but nothing special. The tikka chicken masala had too much tomato flavor for my taste, making it overly sour. The daal was pretty good. The okra and veggie dishes were lackluster in flavor.Dessert included watermelon, rice pudding, carrot halva and gulab jamun. The waitstaff was extremely attentive and almost immediately cleared our old plates the entire meal. The cost of the lunch buffet was $21.50, which I thought was pretty steep, but there was a good variety of food.Overall, can't say I'd be back here but it definitely was not a bad experience!"

"I have tried 3 different Sakoon restaurants and never got a disappointment in terms of flavor n taste. This time it was Fremont one. My family first ordered two appetizers (Chaat Papdi n Saufia Paneer) and they loved both in taste. Only thing is that papdi was less in Chaat Papdi (lol). We found the main course very tasty as well. We asked for green chili on side to add more spice but they offered another dish (some salad) which I didn?t understand. Side sitting is compact and not comfortable but middle ones are better since you can adjust the chairs. My reviews are mostly because of taste. I would like to return whenever want to eat tasty food."

"Came in for lunch and it was fantastic. Food was delicious, probably the best pad sew ew I've had, I would change nothing about it! Our server was very nice and attentive, he kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything. He also gave us a small bowl of salad before we ordered, the dressing was really tasty. I also ordered a Jumbo Thai Tea, and it did not disappoint: it was HUGE, tasty and not too sweet! It's a small resturant, but it had a great chill vibe and with the music, it was pretty relaxing. Overall, everything was a 10/10, will definitely come back and try more items on the menu!"

"Had the number three, a prosciutto Parma sub and it is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Fantastic fresh baked bread, high quality meat and cheeses make a phenomenal combo. I also always have to get a few of the fresh baked Demi-baguettes and one generally doesn’t make it home they’re so good. Ignore the other reviews about bad customer service, they service one or two orders at a time and finish those before starting another so while it may seem like they’re “ignoring” you they’re just making sure that what they’re currently working on comes out perfect."

"New owners. I went there for the fried rice which I absolutely love from there. My daughter and I decided to go before heading back out of town. The fried rice has definitely changed (it was tasteless and nasty . I don’t care what they say. They did not get the original recipe. Which is totally fine! The portion sizes are WAY smaller with a higher price. The sushi was a great touch! Sushi was great. But since they thought that me saying “I no longer wanted the fried rice” (It’s my money. If I’m not satisfied after trying up to 3 bites. I have the right to send it back. They thought it was funny so here is my review. I hope they can stay open as long as the original owners and I’m sad that they had to sell. But life happens."

"We had a mixed experience at this restaurant. The owner was very helpful in setting up outside seating for our party of nine. The appetizers, including samosas and kale chaat, were excellent. The main dishes were good, with rich sauces typical of North Indian cuisine, but not as impressive as the appetizers. Those who ordered cocktails were satisfied, and I personally enjoyed the mango lassi. However, the service was a problem as our waiter took a break during our meal and there were long waits for service even when he was around. There was also confusion regarding the timing of our food being served. These issues could be easily corrected with better staffing, but the restaurant is not quite ready for prime time at the moment."

"I live around the corner from Amans Phoenixville location. And they are theeee best Indian food Ive ever had. I was ecstatic to figure out their sister location is right around the corner from my new job. This location matches the perfection I am used to. The freshest and best ingredients. A level of pride goes into their craft that you can actually taste in the end results. Standards that are increasingly hard to find in todays world. Patia tastes like fresh mango. Their herbs are of such quality their dishes will have flavor that pops in a way most folks arent used to. Even the lunch buffet is run in such a way that there is never a giant bin of a dish getting stale waiting for someone to finish the pan. Amans staff makes sure every bin is fresh for every trip you make to the buffet. Its a fabulous way to introduce someone to Indian cuisine. Or to familiarize yourself."

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"Crab dip was below average but steamed prawns were great. The server never cleared the table before bringing more food out. Then the runner looked confused when I asked them to remove the dirty plates first. My husband noticed that the building was under negative air pressure caused by the hood of the kitchen hood (sucked in doors of the kitchen parlor) which caused hot, humid outside air to enter the restaurant when the outside doors opened. Sit away from the doors if you want air conditioning. Outdoor seating looked nice and led to a long pier on the water."

"My siblings and I planned a 90th birthday celebration for our Mom. From the moment I stepped into Giorgio’s, I knew this was the perfect venue for our celebration. And working with Janet and her son Anthony was the icing on the cake. Janet was such a professional and helped me to pick out the perfect menu. With my type A personality and the worrywart that I am, I’m sure I tried her patience. But both she and Anthony remained the consummate professionals. On the day of the event, as the guests were arriving, Janet pulled me aside, looked me straight in the eye and said, we got this, go and celebrate your Momyou’re lucky to have her. Needless to say, the day turned out wonderful. From the cocktail hour with the delicious hor d’oeuvres served on the patio, to the sit down dinner in the lower dining area with choice of Rib Eye, Chicken Francese and Salmon Capri. Our guests are still raving about the restaurant and the food. This pic says it all! Again, thank you so much Janet and Anthony for helping to make my Mom’s 90th BD a day that will be in our hearts forever"

"The princess cake was overall very delicious, although I’m not a fan of the fondant, so I didn’t eat that part. It was easy to take off. The red velvet cake was really pretty, and my boyfriend loved it!"

"We drove there for about 1 hour and 1 minute from Dulles airport area, Virginia. The only reason why I couldn't rate 5 stars are : The smoky lamb chop presentation on hot stone looks interesting. However the flame smokes caused my kids and myself coughing. Maybe they could do something abt it to fix it. So we could rate them 5 stars instead. Also, the servers did not warmly welcome us. They seem too cold with no smiles often. Food: 5"
