"I love the food here; everything is delicious and the portion sizes are just right. The decor is excellent and the atmosphere is perfect. However, the service was lacking. We ordered fairly quickly, but our server didn’t come back to refill our drinks until our meal arrived. After the meal was served, we were never checked on again. Additionally, we didn’t receive the bread we requested until our food came out, while nearby tables seemed to have received theirs beforehand. I noticed that the tables around us were checked on and had their drinks refilled multiple times. I did try to get our server's attention, but she was often engaged with other tables and would leave quickly, so I don't think she noticed us. The server was friendly, but it felt like our table was overlooked. Perhaps it was because we were seated in the middle of the room, but I honestly have no idea why our experience was different."

"First let me start by saying I have been to The Aviary numerous times. I have always had great service and food. With that being said…. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation at 7:30 we had to wait about 20 minutes which is totally understandable being a Saturday night. We had drinks at the bar while we waited and I waited to pay the bill while my wife and her sister were taken to the table. When I got the table it was about 7:50. Our server did not come back to the table until 8:15. We ordered our appetizers and dinner at the same time which we never do. It’s a good thing we did. We got our appetizer (calamari) right away which was very good. Our food did not come out until around 8:45. We finished our meals and I had to find our server for our check while I was on my way to the restroom. We received the check at roughly 9:20. This was the only time our server was quick to come back to our table. I know some will say that this is no big deal, but when you see people come in after you and get quick service and eat and leave before you there is a real problem. I will not let this persuade me from not going again, but the management should be aware and hopefully keep a better eye on all of their patrons."

"Tried their special chicken sandwich and had asked it what made up the sauce, and was told it was a sour and spicy soy cause...first bite I definitely got that sourness and then after got a little tingle of spice (nothing extreme for me). But flavor wise? I could not tell you what I was tasting besides sourness. There was also corn in it?? And cilantro...not sure what the white sauce is (couldn't taste anything). The picture attached is what was on the inside of the sandwich (apologies I started eating already)...the bacon was good! Did not feel as though it had a Korean twist to it just a lot of sourness. Would not recommend this dish. However, the service was amazing! Everyone was very nice! The fries were good. Had some of their stuffed mushroom burger too, and it was much better than this special. If you plan on coming here, definitely reserve ahead of time, unless you're ok with possibly sitting at the bar or sitting in lawn chairs without a table. The place was very aesthetically pleasing, a great spot by the water. Watch out for parking though if you can carpool I'd suggest doing that."

"Loved the lobster roll and the chowder! I wish I was from here because they had a bunch of freezers full of well organized, yummy looking frozen soups that I would've totally taken home! I'm from out of town so I was grateful I was able to drive right down the street and sit at a bench by the beach to enjoy this delicious food."

"Revival was the perfect choice for our evening out. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive when we needed assistance, and offered great suggestions for our meal. We ordered the beet tartare and the swordfish, and both dishes exceeded our expectations. The salad was much more generous than we anticipated—it was both refreshing and satisfying. The combination of beets and rich halloumi made for a hearty portion. The swordfish was flaky and savory, with a delightful smoky flavor and a full-bodied richness. We rounded off our meal with cocktails (an old fashioned and a drink named after Jefferson). Revival boasts one of the best whiskey selections we’ve seen in the area, including a special list that you need to request. We can't wait to return for our next special occasion and try some Pappy’s! Highly recommended!"
