"I split a Tour dish with my mother, and everything tasted absolutely amazing!! The garlic bread is fantastic, and the Italian salad's vegetables and flavors blended so well together! Our waitress did a spectacular job of taking care of us, and she was very thoughtful and sweet!! The restaurant played a lot of oldies music, which I loved! The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the decor was awesome! If you're going through McPherson, this restaurant is a must!"

"Came to Woodys with my very large family during vacation, we walked in and the service immediately handled us so well, they were very patient and gave good advice as to deals and family packs. As for the food, let’s just say we left super full and very satisfied. Personally, I loved the ribs, extremely tender and the pork had great texture and flavor! My absolute favorite however may sound weird but it was the fries… and usually I don’t order fries and don’t care for them much but by recommendation we ordered them and turned out to be a great decision. They were seasoned so well, I’ve never had fries with such good flavor, they were warm and definitely tasted fresh. I truly must say that they are the best fries I’ve ever had and it sounds funny but I promise they won’t disappoint. Overall this restaurant genuinely deserves this rating and I’m very glad we decided to stop by here. I recommend Woodys for anyone searching for some good authentic barbecue, especially large parties because of their great deals, great service, and great food! 11/10 all around!"

"This place is awesome! We order sandwiches here all the time for work so I decided to give it a try. I came in for a sandwich for lunch in my first visit. Fast, fresh and tasty and out the door for like $13 wow. Service is great. Everyone was very friendly and I immediately wanted to return. I ordered some of their charcuterie boards for a group lunch and a big salad. Food for 25 people for lunch was $300 with a 20% tip. Quality ingredients, well packaged and plenty left over. The shop is cute. Tables and bar top. It's open from lunch I tot he evening and had a full bar as well. Definitely a local highlight for food options. Avoid the **** out by the hotels and come here for something tasty and fresh and affordable."

"I 've never stiffed on a tip in my life, so the fact that I chose to do so today says a lot. Today, I, my wife, and our son (15 months) came in for lunch today. Our server, Shaelee C., came to our table and was immediately hostile and unwelcoming. There was no attempt on her part to be personable and professional, and she was extremely condescending to my wife when she simply asked if we could swap a side on a dish. Shortly after this, we got our food (delivered by another server, who was quite nice), Shaelee C. dropped our check on the table and walked away without asking us for boxes or if we needed anything else. She then walked past our table no less than 12 times while we were still eating to see if we had put our card down, each time refusing to acknowledge us at all but obviously peering over at the check. Then we heard her muttering under her breath, Ugh. Oh my God, they 're still here... , as she turned the corner while my wife was feeding our son before even being able to eat herself. The difference in how she treated our table was shocking compared to the others in her section. Our baby was super happy and chill the whole time without bothering anyone, so I legitimately think she just genuinely hates children or something, which was why she was so incredibly disrespectful to us alone. Thank goodness we were just passing through town, but we 'll definitely avoid this place going forward. It 's a shame, though, because the food was amazing and some of the best we 've ever had at an Applebee 's.
