"I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. As an Asian customer, I felt that my requests were treated as if they were unreasonable. If you're going to open a restaurant in America, why not treat all customers, regardless of their background, with the same respect you offer to your Mexican patrons? I read online that they serve adobada tacos with all the fixings, including pineapple, so I decided to order those. However, when I asked for pineapple, the staff informed me they didn't have any. After insisting a couple of times that I came specifically for that, the server started yelling to the kitchen to chop some up. It was confusing since I had just been told they didn’t have any. Later, when I requested an extra hot sauce — since I received only one of each color for my two tacos — the staff acted as if I was asking for an excessive amount. I enjoy my Mexican food with plenty of hot sauce, so I found this very frustrating. Overall, I will not be returning. Thank you, but no thanks."

They're menu is perfect! The food is excellent, nice ambiance, friendly service. For me the first sign that the food is going to be good is the salsa, they're salsas are delicious! I highly recommend this place. Be prepared to wait a bit.

The $1.50 fish tacos at Wednesday's are a must-try. The interior is stylish, featuring great paintings by iconic Latino artists. Enjoy the fresh air on the terrace. This restaurant stands out in the shopping district, being one of the few options aside from McDonald's.

I call ahead of time and it doesn’t matter how much time I call before hand they always start my order when I get here. I usually go during my lunch when I get the chance but honestly it isn’t worth wasting my 30 min. Last time I come to this restaurant they do this too many times. View menu

This place has the best taco Tuesday in the city! The al pastor is the top meat choice. The menudo is clean and tasty. Just keep in mind that it's more of a business than a restaurant, so the staff may be smaller and wait times could be longer during busy periods. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it!

I ordered a taco and ended up waiting for 20 minutes. By the time I was served, three couples had already finished their meals and left, yet my taco still hadn't come out. I was really disappointed, especially since I had come to try this place because it's close to the Dixie Line. In hindsight, I probably should have just gone to Taco Joint instead.

The adovada tacos are excellent! I also tried the asada tacos, the mulita, and the cabeza tacos, and everything has been great so far. I'm really enjoying this place. The cabeza tacos are a bit pricier, but I think they're worth it. I apologize for not taking a picture of the tacos; I was just too hungry! Here’s a photo of the mulita. I would definitely recommend this place! View menu

I tried the menudo dish and found it to have a sour taste. It was my first time encountering onion in my menudo. While the meat was tender, the broth’s sour flavor was not to my liking. I can't say for certain how spoiled menudo tastes, but if it’s anything like this, I can imagine it would be similar. The adobo fries were decent, which is why I'm giving this restaurant three stars.

El Trompo is an excellent place for tasty Mexican cuisine. I absolutely love it! At first, I was thinking about grabbing a greasy burger from Wendy's for breakfast, but as I got closer, I changed my mind and chose a carne asada burrito from El Trompo instead. That turned out to be a smart decision! The burrito featured fresh, handmade tortillas, perfectly cooked carne asada, and delicious salsa. I really enjoy El Trompo (and my wife, who is a talented cook herself, agrees!). You should definitely give it a try—you won't be disappointed! Plus, they serve menudo on weekends, which is a real treat!
