We had to wait 10 minutes on our table, but we got a free Sake as an excuse. Take an appetite.

Had an amazing meal and will add this to a monthly rotation for sure. Ask for the Ocean Hand Roll. The chef (who is also the owner) will know.Food: 5/5

Moody modern Japanese sushi bar, with a short but well curated menu. Takeout business is strong and waits can be long at peak times. Service is fantastic. View menu

Super delicious fish, literally delivered from Japan the previous day. The owner is also the main sushi chef and will chat you up at the sushi bar. Lovely spot. I can’t believe it’s not packed all the time!Food: 5/5

We got a last-minute reservation for a Saturday evening. Service was good, atmosphere was clean and simply decorated. We ordered two apps to share (grilled romaine and crab cakes) plus a roll, some sashimi, and the tasting menu of the seared trio. It was all so delicious. Definitely recommend.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
