"We celebrated Valentine's Day at this restaurant and it was truly wonderful. I ordered the salmon, while my husband chose the steak and potatoes. Our server, Maggie, was absolutely outstanding. She was incredibly quick and communicated effectively, making the evening run seamlessly. We genuinely felt cared for during our time there. The tavern is fortunate to have someone like her, and I strongly suggest a raise if she hasn't received one already. It's rare to find staff who are not only willing to work, especially after the pandemic, but who also genuinely care about the people they serve. Maggie is truly a gem! She was kind, attentive, and we definitely plan to return, with the only request being that Maggie is our server again! I highly recommend this place!"

The service and food were outstanding! The only downside was the noise level, which made it hard to hear. I'm not sure how they could improve that. Overall, I'm eager to go back!

The food was good, but the atmosphere was quite loud. We ordered a bottle of white wine, but it took a long time to arrive and I had to confirm whether they had forgotten it. When the bartender finally brought it to our table, they simply left the bottle without pouring us the first glass. Overall, we felt a bit rushed during our visit.

I had made a reservation for a specific table, but when we arrived, I was disappointed to find that it had been given to a larger party. Our only option was to sit outside. I was informed that it was "Gleite" as stated in the OpenTable listing, which made it clear that reservations don’t guarantee a table. I was really upset about this situation! View menu

It is a shame that our experience was ruined by flies. We were seated in the very back of the restuarant away from the open air windows. We had flies landing on us, our food and swarming all around us. It completely ruined our dinner. We ended up taking our food to go after the appetizers. The staff apologized and the manager gave us 50% off our meal as an apology. The noted it was a problem and they are wirking on it. The food was good but lost my apetite due to the pests.

The noise level was extremely high, and I had to raise my voice to discuss the table with the staff. It was an unpleasant kind of loud. Our server was friendly, but they forgot one of our orders and didn’t check on us again until we were done. On a positive note, the frozen margarita I had was excellent! The food was, as always, fantastic. I appreciated that our table was ready for our reservation. I will definitely choose this place during the week, but on weekends, I’ll look for somewhere quieter where I can enjoy a meal without the atmosphere feeling like a concert.
