"I visited Mizzu Asian Bistro on a Thursday evening with colleagues for a work lunch. I was happy to see a variety of menu options and appreciated that hibachi was available at regular tables. The restaurant was fairly empty, which is understandable given the current circumstances, so the service was a bit slow. There was some confusion, as a few people at our table initially received the wrong orders, and some of us ended up with the wrong leftovers by the end of the night. Nevertheless, the food was tasty, the drinks were enjoyable, the portions were generous, and the prices fair. Despite the service hiccups, I would still recommend dining here."

"3 stars because the ambiance of the restaurant is nice, the wild mushroom ravioli was delicious, but… The restaurant is definitely overpriced for the food/service that you get. Our table was being used by one of the servers to have his coffee (not a problem but instead of picking up immediately, he left the coffee there until we almost sat and only took the mug and not the plate he had it on and expected us to use that plate for our bread?! Speaking of the bread was stale and the “dipping” sauce is Mexican salsa from a Pace jar (or a similar brand wit feta cheese added and a drizzle of olive oil (do y’all really think we are not gonna notice?! . The drinks were a complete mess, the apple pie drink was actually a tequila sunrise (minus a cherry with a cinnamon stick and the Paloma was some weird mixture between grenadine, water and vodka. (Lol how can you mess up a Paloma , asked for a Diet Coke and brought Diet Pepsi and expected me to not notice and even insisted “yes it is diet coke!”, I ordered seltzer water and got flat tap water with no ice. LOL Like I said the food was good but everything else was messy, I don’t understand how the restaurant is so popular in the area… definitely not worth the hype at all."

"First time trying Cafe Luna. Hostess and Waitress were very pleasant, food was okay. My husband and son ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs but asked for the vodka sauce instead of the regular sauce. Our waitress did not mention any upcharges for the sauce. When we got our bill, much to our surprise we were charged for Penne alla Vodka. When we asked she said that was the upcharge and both meals are the same cost. The upcharge isn’t the issue but being surprised when you get the bill is. It would be great if there was either a note on the menu or at the time of ordering."

"I finally got to try this place after wanting to go for months because my availability was not the same as the hours of the restaurant. I am happy that they have changed the hours to the restaurant so more people can come.Let’s get into the review:The place is very cute on the inside, it’s new and hopping on a Saturday morning. I liked how busy it was. I can tell it’s popular.However, this is where things take a turn.My husband and I tried sampled a couple of dishes today. All of which were unfortunately lukewarm or cold by the time they reached our table.We had poutine- which was the warmest thing we received and that was lukewarm at best. I had crepes, eggs, and bacon. I was very disappointed that my eggs and crepes were cold and that they did not follow the order note for crispy bacon as it was underdone for my liking.On our way out, I noticed several dishes sitting on the window of the kitchen waiting to be picked up by a waiter or waitress. There was no one in sight and the food was sitting there. I am sure some of which were sitting for minutes probably just like ours were, and I can guess that’s why they were lukewarm and cold. I hope that the staff can work on communicating in the kitchen and maybe timing to go and get food.I will be back to try the restaurant again, but I think I will choose a quieter time where this would not happen."

"2018- Totally unexpected. Great food, fresh fruit, and an offer of donuts for the kids. We just stopped while traveling and were pleasantly surprised. 2019- Again traveling, we took the time (2 min off highway) to stop both northbound and southbound a week later for a great meal. I really can’t stress enough how much I like Uncle D’s. As others have said, it’s the whole package, great food, reasonable prices, and staff who really care. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, everyone is pleasant, and takes the time to care. The service stands above even some of the finest restaurants I’ve been to. Add that to a clean facility that’s conveniently located and you’ve got a spot we’ll be visiting for years to come. 2024- We’ve now been coming here for years. While we don’t live close, Uncle D’s is our go to place anytime we’re near Hartford. They consistently provide great food fantastic service in a fun atmosphere. I even appreciate that they’re taking a week off in early July. Giving your whole staff off to recharge is huge, especially in a small business. Uncle D’s for the win!!!"
