"Our dining experience at Aji was truly a pleasure. My husband and I were on our honeymoon trip and were looking for something different for dinner one evening. The menu at Aji is exciting and the ceviche and empanadas are some of the best I’ve ever had. We were so excited about trying the three types of ceviche texture, flavor, everything was fresh and balanced. The service was also great and I felt so well taken care of and appreciated our server’s recommendations. Next time we are in Taos we will definitely be back! We went on Friday night and the restaurant wasn’t busy which was frankly shocking considering how wonderful the food was"

"The food was ok, but the service was noticeably disorganized. Though there were easily 8 10 open tables when we arrived, there was a wait list of about 8 9 parties. At no time during our visit we 're all tables seated and there was a list of people waiting the whole time. Maybe someone didn 't show up to work, but it would seem that the restaurant would want every seat filled to turn as many tables as possible. There appear to be no sections for the servers so our wait person was handling tables all over the restaurant. When our server asked for drinks, she took one person 's order, and then walked away not asking anyone else if they wanted anything despite other people at the table having their hand raise trying to get a drink. When she returned, she asked if we wanted to order, said I forgot my machine and then walked away and didn 't return. After 15 minutes of waiting, we had to go the the hostess to ask to place an order. I 've worked front off house and my spouse has worked in the kitchen. Though our server may not naturally have the ideal organizationAl skills for the job, the front of house disorganization is a management issue and they are not doing the staff any favors. Too bad because the location is a draw and the food was totally reasonable for the price."

"My friend and I stopped here on Saturday, 2/12. We enjoyed a pick-six of the charcuterie, a few glasses of wine, the kielbasa appetizer and a decadent cream brulee to complete it all. Sommelier (and probably owner) was so knowledgeable that he made the dining room above the top. Hearing his knowledge and processes really opened us to his world and we are so grateful. Chutney, cheese, sauerkraut and capocollo stood out. Especially the duckbone. Duck confit was just about the most tasty thing we had all week. Unbelievable thoughts and care on each row and presented with each court. We'll be back, even if we have to drive from Denver, just for a bite of the duck."

"This is a small Mexican restaurant, but the flavors are absolutely fantastic! I ordered the street tacos and the shrimp enchiladas with chipotle cream sauce, along with rice and beans. I must say, these were the best beans I've tasted in New Mexico! The rice was also quite good. The enchiladas featured fresh and firm shrimp, along with bacon and cheese, creating a delicious combination. The street tacos were filled with ground buffalo meat, which was a nice twist. For dessert, I had the ice cream chimichanga topped with strawberries and peaches, and it was amazing! While this place isn’t fancy, the food certainly makes up for it. Just a heads up: it can be a bit tricky to get in and out with a car, so it's best to plan your exit to avoid traffic."

"We arrived without reservations on a Monday and were seated in the bar area where we received excellent attention and service from our server, Danielle. Deb had a filet mignon done to her specifications which led to her satisfaction. I had a tartare small plate and a small plate truffle fries that we shared though it was so large it was almost hard to finish. Almost. Dinner was followed by a desert called Bowl of Bliss. Warm gingerbread over caramelized apple slices, topped with vanilla ice cream drizzled with toffee syrup. Aptly named. We?ve eaten at Lambert?s over the years and have always found it a great experience. Highly recommend it."
