"We missed having the two sisters as our servers this year. Our waitress mentioned that the owner made some staffing changes, and this could impact our decision to return. The waitstaff didn’t seem particularly enthusiastic about being there. While the food was decent, the overall dining experience is what truly matters, and without attentive servers, the food rating suffers. I requested extra butter, but by the time our waitress finally looked up from her phone, giggled with another server, and got to my order, my food had lost its warmth. The level of service we experienced felt more suited to a fast food restaurant than an establishment of this caliber. Perhaps a better motto would be, "Act your wage." Good luck, Crab 99—remember, your restaurant's reputation reflects on your employees."

It's a great place for kids, with fun decorations that they will love, and there’s also plenty of food options for them! The restaurant is easily accessible for wheelchair users.

The waitress was friendly, and the restaurant had the usual seafood house decor and menu. I went there specifically for blue crab, but unfortunately, they were out of stock. I tried the crab cakes instead, which were quite good at $8.50 for two. They also offered homemade coleslaw, which was tasty, and the hush puppies were delicious. However, the calamari was overcooked and inedible.

We dined at Crab 99 and were really impressed with the food. My wife and I decided to share a meal to try it out, and we were very pleased with our choice. We ordered the 1lb shrimp boil with Old Bay seasoning. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because there's no option for half stars. If they had a better selection of beer and draft options, they would have easily earned a 5-star rating. I know this might come off as a bit picky, but I really enjoy having draft beer with my meal, especially at a restaurant. However, this won't deter me from returning for another visit!
