"This is my first time eating at THIS location on Vandyke 696... I first ate at The Crab House many years ago at their location on 7 Mile and Evergreen area and that was when the small crab leg dinners were $9.99 when they first opened up. I remember living in Clinton Township on 16 Mile road and Groesbeck and driving all the way to 7 Mile and Evergreen several times a month. The food was good at this location customer service was pretty good. My picture isn't the best picture because the lighting was terrible (sorry about that and my daughter tilted the bag and they rearranged the food and some of sauce spilled out. One daughter loves the eggs and my other daughter wanted a piece of chicken with her fried catfish) but it tasted really delicious. It was fresh and hot. The wait wasn't too long and you can also dine in. The dining area is fairly large and it was clean. I recommend this place and I will be returning."

The alfredo dish is absolutely fantastic. It is my favorite and the best I have ever had. The sauce is creamy and flavorful, and they give you a generous portion with plenty of sauce and chicken. My boyfriend also enjoyed their ribs and mac and cheese. We really love this restaurant and recognize its quality. The only drawback is the small parking lot and its location could be better.

I visited on April 29th and ordered the full BBQ slab with macaroni and cheese and a baked potato. The ribs were absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed them and the sauce was phenomenal. Please never change your sauce or how the ribs are cut! The baked potato was okay, but I had to add my own seasoning because theirs was too spicy for my taste. Unfortunately, the macaroni and cheese wasn't my favorite as the cheeses weren't well blended and the recipe left a bad aftertaste in my mouth.

This was my first visit to the restaurant and I was impressed with both the excellent customer service and delicious food. Charles, also known as Chuck, took great care of me even though the restaurant is usually closed on Sundays and Mondays. He was in the kitchen preparing chili for the next day when he saw me trying to open the door. I ordered a salmon dinner, which came with a garlic baked potato, corn on the cob, and an egg. I waited no more than 15-20 minutes for my meal, and it was definitely worth it. The salmon was cooked to perfection and seasoned well.
