"The greeters were efficient and welcoming. Our server, Brogan, was outstanding. The background music was at a pleasant volume and fitting for the atmosphere. However, the tables felt quite bare; adding an electric tea light, candle, or some flowers would significantly enhance the experience. I also wish that salt and pepper were provided at each table—Covid is no longer a valid excuse for this. Despite that, the food and cocktails were excellent. I will definitely return."

The Drake has greatly improved since its reopening. The entrée options are much better, and the food was fantastic. I really enjoyed my experience.

The food was really tasty. The staff were really friendly and prompt. Waitress was really friendly and knowledgeable about the food. The only thing that I could complain about it how loud it was in there. Thank you for such a great evening! View menu

the scallops were excellent. we also enjoyed 3 types of oysters. I like to try the different sauces. my man had the fuke and my sister and my brother in law had the black red fish. it was also wonderful, a small zip, but we all tried it and it was delicious. everything was perfectly prepared. great evening.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary, and it was wonderful. We arrived early, and they graciously accommodated us. We enjoyed a fantastic booth in the bar, and the service was excellent throughout our visit. It was a bit on the pricey side, so we probably won’t dine here frequently, but it was just perfect for our special occasion.

"We ate here during the Paseo Arts Festival. We initially tried to make a reservation using Open Table, but someone from the restaurant called me a few days later to inform me that Picasso Cafe was not taking reservations during the Arts Festival. We arrived at 12:15 pm and put in our names. Our party was called just before 1:00 pm. Fortunately, we had the Arts Festival to keep us busy while we waited. I ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich. It sounded good in the menu description -- seared chicken breast, avocado slices, swiss cheese, bacon, and bourbon honey mustard. However, I ordered it without the cheese because I have been to too many places where they do not know how to melt cheese on grilled sandwiches and I don't want to be a picky customer on my second visit to a restaurant. Anyway, it was difficult to hold the sandwich together. I ended up taking the avocado slices off of it so that there was enough friction for me to hold it together and eat it. The seared chicken breast was the best part, closely followed by complimentary lettuce and tomato (crisp and cold) and the honey mustard (good mix of sweet and tangy). I ordered the napa cabbage slaw for my side dish. It was served with a light dressing so that the cabbage stood out. This is not a slaw for people who prefer not to taste the cabbage. I would like to come back and try some more things. However, if I have the chicken sandwich again, I am going to leave out both the swiss cheese and the avocado. I would also like to see if they have a wheat bun because that would pair better with this mix of flavors and textures."
