"When I first heard about the kartoffeldonut, I expected them to be quite dense, but they turned out to be just perfect—light, airy, and fluffy! We tried three flavors: chocolate caramel coconut, lemon, and the third one I can’t quite recall. They were all so delicious! The line was quite long, so we ordered online, which allowed us to skip it. This is an update on my previous review from November 8, 2021."

Lots of options for vegans! Their iced coffee also uses coffee ice cubes, which I love! Very tasty, the lemon donut was my favorite!

Expect to wait in line for these yummy treats! I had 6 vegan donuts to choose from. The cinnamon/sugar and the toasted coconut or my favorite!

I was REALLY excited to go here but I felt a little let down after all the hype. Coffee was ok. I guess I’ve been spoiled by Seattle and Portland’s vegan donuts. View menu

I absolutely love The Holy Donut! It's the only place I've found that offers gluten-free donuts, and they taste fantastic—just like the regular ones. The three-hour drive is definitely worth it for me to enjoy them!

The vegan donuts here are quite large! Over the years, the restaurant has significantly expanded its vegan options. However, it's best to arrive early or place an order in advance, as they can sell out quickly and you might leave disappointed otherwise.

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend. The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper. There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"
