"The food is quite good, but for delivery, it would be much better if there were more options for toppings, condiments, and bread choices for sandwiches. It would be really useful to have the ability to add special instructions, such as asking for no honey mustard, extra mayo, Swiss cheese, or a croissant instead of multi-grain bread. Furthermore, I found the single-serving size of their deli sides, priced at $3.00, to be surprisingly small."

Wet and unappealing! The Ham Swiss Slider 3-Pack was disappointing. I can't recommend eating here. This restaurant frequently has issues with food delivery. Approach with caution.

The line was long, but what else could you expect two days before Christmas? It moved reasonably quickly, and the manager frequently came out to check on us. And, of course, the ham was fantastic!

This is a great store, but the hams don't have the sweet coating that I was used to. You can spend $90 and up for a ham. I really like the expanded selection of side offerings as well. The service is friendly too. View menu

I recently found out about Honey Baked Ham, and I was really impressed! Their sandwiches are surprisingly delicious. The staff is always friendly and prepares your order efficiently. I will definitely be coming back!

The Ham Classic Sandwich was just okay. The croissant felt a little stale, and I would have liked the option to customize my sandwich since I wasn’t a fan of the hickory smoked honey mustard. Overall, it was a mediocre experience.

This was my first time at the restaurant. I rated it a 3 because I was really hoping for an incredibly sweet glazed ham. I understand it’s quite popular, but I think I’ll just stick to making my own. It was $80 and not as sweet as I expected. However, the cheesecake was a hit with my out-of-town guests! The service was also fantastic! View menu

This was my first visit to the restaurant. I rated it a 3 because I was looking forward to a wonderfully sweet glazed ham. The place is quite popular, but I think I'll just stick to making my own ham from now on. It cost $80 and wasn’t as sweet as I had expected. On the plus side, the cheesecake was a hit with my out-of-town guests, and the service was fantastic!

The Franconia Honey Baked location is excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient, always ready to help. I've been visiting this location for years, and it's definitely a great choice for special events, holidays, or even just a quick lunch. They'll never let you down. The negative reviews make me curious about the other side of the story; I've never had any issues myself. Enjoy your meal!

"This place really helped me adjust. I later learned that people gravitate towards certain bars, and I found my favorites, especially those with live music like Birchmere, Black Cat, 9:30 Club, Lincoln, Capital One Arena, and even the now-closed O'Shaughnessy's and Rock & Roll Hotel. One of my most memorable experiences was running into Rory Sheridan on one of my first visits. He was launching his DC music campaign back then and was part of Loud Boyz. We chatted a few times, and I even caught up with some old classmates. Another highlight was when I heard about a “reunion” night before Thanksgiving, and I decided to crash it. There were moments where people could be unkind or I felt out of place, but I was given some guidance on where I would fit in better, without the unnecessary drama. Being in Old Town, I was familiar with nearby schools like West Potomac, Mount Vernon, and Bishop Ireton. During my visits, I would often take an Alexandria cab or use Metro Access, being discreet about my disability since I felt embarrassed at times. Being a regular meant navigating the tourist scene, and there were people who seemed territorial about the place, but I ended up doing quite well when I sold my house. Good times continued with events like watching RG3 play for the Redskins or meetups organized by JT. I enjoyed New Year’s celebrations and weekend outings. I also frequented other establishments like Flying Fish before it closed, and O'Shaughnessy's before I decided to stop drinking. This is a sports bar located near a bicycle shop, close to the Ben & Jerry's I used to work at, along with many other walkable bars for bar hopping, like Union Street Pub and Fish Market. It can be a great place to have fun, but with the good comes some downsides. Overall, I felt well-hosted and respected here, despite some things I was not initially aware of or didn’t want to uncover."
