"As a New Yorker, I have pretty high standards when it comes to certain foods—bagels, pizza, and of course, sushi! When I visit my family in a small town in North Carolina, sushi isn't usually the first thing that comes to mind. However, Miyako changed my perspective. I first started dining there around 2014-2015, mainly sticking to the teriyaki and hibachi options, which are absolutely delicious. One day, I decided to try the sushi, and I was genuinely impressed. The most important thing is that everything is fresh. My mother and I typically order the Miyako boat, which costs about $30, and it's more than enough to fill you up. I thought it used to come with soup or salad, but that wasn’t offered this time. The staff is attentive, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is fantastic."
