"Beautiful view. Awesome drinks. Great hosts. Server was annoying and didn’t really serve us much. We always had to request for his attention, which was annoying because we had a big party. And he was only serving two tables at the time. I understand the gratuity charge for parties of or more, but they also made us pay extra tax for their employees health insurance ? That was on our bill, like wtf ? They aren’t our employees, and we are consumers. An establishment should pay or provide their employees enough to have heath insurance or provide them benefits than automatically forcing their consumers to pay for it on their bill. Other than that food was good but they don’t tell you the full menu is only for downstairs dining so for my friends birthday we were very disappointed of the limited menu for the rooftop. For the food and price not worth it. And definitely not worth the service but the patio on the rooftop is still a nice place to hang out and just have a drink or two. But will not be dining on their rooftop anymore. Or having any more celebrations there"

They asked for a credit card before ordering. The drinks took minutes to arrive. This will be my last visit to this restaurant

it is a great place to just sit back, relax and chat with a friend. something little to eat, and have a drink, not actually to have a lunch or dinner with the family. hahaha

if the weather is good, you will get a great view of the city. the server are not very attentive and given the price of everything we should not have to wait 20 minutes for a drink. View menu

Everything was great. The bartender was a little short with me when I went up to order but it didn’t damper our experience. When I went to order my food and drinks, she continued to look away and do what she was doing, not fully acknowledging me, but everything turned out great

We’re at downstairs but decided to go up to check it out since friends are out of town. It was great but abit windy and abit cool. The view was very nice but the services was slow since they’re overwhelmed, it tools about before someone took our orders glad that we took drinks downstairs with us

"We visited the Los Alamitos location this trip for late lunch, early dinner. My husband got an All American Beach Melt. It was a full pound cheeseburger on grilled Parmesan Sour Dough. He was delightfully overwhelmed! I decided to try the prime rib dinner because the prime rib dip is out of this world! I was extremely disappointed! The meat was cold and flavorless. The aujus again had no flavor. The creamy horseradish could have been sour cream, and it has absolutely no flavor at all, no zing. Our waitress was sweet but disappointing. All of our food came to the table at the same time. Our appetizer actually arrived after our entree plates. Our waitress did a vanishing act. She did not once return to the table. Our water and tea cups sat empty throughout our meal. Other servers took care of the tables to our right, and to our left, we remained completely ignored. After finishing our meals, we sat for about 15 20 minutes with my husband, trying to get anyone to pay attention to even our empty glasses. Finally, it appeared to be someone in management who asked if we were waiting for boxes. My husband told her we 'd like a check AND boxes so we can leave. She brought our check and 3 boxes, no questions or comments. My husband paid in cash, and she said, I 'll see you next time. He commented. There won 't be a next time. We enjoy the Foothill Ranch location, a much friendlier environment. Today 's lesson learned is that it was not a good idea to order steak at a sandwich shop."

"Our first visit to the restaurant last night came highly recommended, thanks to a friend's glowing review of their vegan menu. We were pretty excited and ordered two vegan meatball subs. The trouble began when we waited for nearly 25 minutes after placing our order. Our server, a guy named Ryan (I think), came over and told us they were all out of vegan meatballs. Naturally, we asked why it took so long for them to figure this out, which seemed to fluster poor Ryan a bit. However, he was polite throughout the conversation. We decided to switch our order to one regular meatball sub and a vegan eggplant sub, thinking all was well. But, surprise, surprise, Ryan returned a few minutes later to tell us they were also out of eggplant. At this point, we had been waiting for almost 40 minutes with no food in sight, so we asked for the check to pay for the soda my husband had been nursing. Here's why the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths: 1. Why in the world didn't the waitstaff know about these shortages in advance? It seems like basic communication within the restaurant was seriously lacking. Customers shouldn't be left hanging, wondering if they'll actually get what they ordered. 2. It's kind of baffling that Ryan was left to break the bad news not just once, but twice. You'd think the manager, who we saw chatting with other diners just a few feet away, would have taken the initiative to come over and speak to us directly. 3. I was made to feel like I should be really grateful they decided not to charge us for the Diet Coke my husband drank. Overall it was a terrible experience and no effort was made to rectify what happened. I obviously cannot comment on the food since we never recieved any. As for customer service...HORRIBLE!"
