"they had only a shortened happy hour menu for a weekly comedy show but we wanted to full portion. the bartender said we could order and check the complete menu and deliver the kitchen! we have eaten ours and got a few good laughs and went with full believing. it is a quiet, restless place. will be back for more from the regular menu. the bartender served drinks left and right, everyone seemed very good to take care. the food was good too!"

I always wanted to love this place. it has a great energy about it and I went there once to a good comedy show. the food that my friend and I have ordered, however, was unacceptable. very literally. we couldn't eat it. I wish they would change the chefs.

The Slide Inn was just a cute and quaint location!! There was one server who was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was spectacular, I've never had an Austrian pancake but I definitely will again!!! If you want a chill quiet breakfast, this is definitely the place!!

nice vegan options and an extensive choice for all others. they do gluten-free options. the apple fritter appetizer is amazing and they were awesome enough to make it vegan so everyone could share at the table! very accommodating and a beautiful casual atmosphere. a little retro. a little Austrian ski chalet. a lot of portland. but ultimately a great choice for the breakfast for vegans or allergic. I can't believe that I'm the first to review this find. Best ever kale chips!! Lot's of options, and a very extensive menu with something for everyone. I had the gnocchi, which are made vegan and gluten free, also had the tofu sausage served with house fermented kraut. I'm going back for those kale chips too! Next on my list is to try their brunch, my mouth is watering already just thinking of the menu!

I went here for brunch. My boyfriend got to tofu scramble and I got the waffle. The tofu scramble was delicious. My waffles was horrible. It was very hard. Also I was disappointed by the lavender syrup. I love lavender and was really excited to try it but it was more like a syrup you sweeten drinks with rather than something that gets poured over waffles. I might try their dinner menu one day but I'm in no hurry.
