"The one person that wanted to make reservations for a Thursday night, was the only one who had everything wrong with his meal. Pleasant, soft spoken server, about 3 tables inside and maybe 4 tables outside were occupied, plenty of servers, so we figured there were enough staff. However, it was lengthy times that we would see her. Everyone’s salad was delicious, except my husband got something he didn’t order, knowing they would have to throw it away, he kept it. It was just as delicious as the garden salad would have been. But then, he ordered the filet, as a splurge, that did NOT come with the “glaze” “gravy”, and one half was mostly tolerable, but the other was completely rare compared to medium well that he ordered. By the time the gravy came out, separately, he had had enough of his uncooked steak. It looked more like a tuna steak. The asparagus was great at the top, but extremely hard on the stalk. Of course, the stalks are tougher, but it was not pleasant. I will be able to cook the steak into something spectacular for breakfast in the morning, but we were extremely saddened that a place so reputable, that we had only frequented on “special occasion”, was such a disappointment for the one person that was so adamant for a reservation. We will return someday, but not for the steak."
