"We hadn’t been back to the Turn House since before the pandemic. We were regulars before the renovation and the food was consistently good even though the space was dated. Now, it seems things have flipped. The food was bland needing more depth and flavor. It wasn’t inedible but it wasn’t enjoyable especially for the price. We started with Steamed Mussels in what looked the color of curry. The dish lacked flavor and dipping the bread in the sauce resulted in moist bread with very little flavor. I ordered French Onion soup and Tuna Tartare. The soup tasted like watered down beef broth and I didn’t taste any onion even though there were onions in it. Best thing was the cheese which did have flavor. The Tuna Tartare looked appealing but, again, lacked flavor. The tuna was tossed in some sauce, but it either wasn’t enough sauce or the sauce lacked flavor. My husband ordered the salmon with a cold sauce lining the plate. You could tell, the sauce was supposed to add to the dish but it was refrigerator cold with everything else being hot. The sautéed potato cubes didn’t have flavor. Thankfully, we asked for salt and pepper and that helped us season our food, but for the price, we expected much better. The renovation was done so well and you’d expect the food to match the update. The one thing we did appreciate was the manager coming to the tables and asking how things were and he accepted the feedback we provided him well. We don’t expect to return anytime soon but hope they do improve."

Food was delicious. Loved the ravioli. Monkeys paw cocktail was smokey but fragrant! Patio was very inviting.

My favorite restaurant for the lump maryland crabcakes. Also love the patio seating in view of the golf course. View menu

the gym was such a great experience. eating, ambiente and service was great! the groundless mimosas were a lot. I got the omelette with sparing and mushrooms, and they allowed me to change my cheese and protein without problems. 10/10, will return.

Our server, Piceth, was fantastic - attentive, alert, and quick. They were accommodating when we asked to switch tables, and even gave us some virgin mocktails to take home. The food was delicious and we had a great brunch experience. I would definitely recommend this place, 10/10. View menu

Wonderful brunch service by our waitress Leah! She was friendly and attentive! But french press coffee arrived cold. The cocktail we ordered from the menu wasn’t made correctly according to what the menu indicated. The food was either undercooked (bacon), dry (biscuits) or needed salt (all egg entrees). And very expensive. We’ll be re-thinking going there for brunch next time.

We have always enjoyed the Turn House! Service is usually pretty good, but this visit was a bit different about 15 minutes until we had a waiter greet us after we were seated and there were some considerable delays from the bar. There was an event in one of the private rooms, so we'll chalk it up to a staffing miscalculation for a Saturday evening, but one would expect a strong staffing presence during such a usually busy time. The rest of the restaurant appeared possibly 50 60% full...

"What can I say, it's a wine store with shelves of wine to buy and a bar and a restaurant all in one. Make sure you're seated in the bar area that is surrounded by all the shelves of bottles of wine it has a great ambiance as opposed to the side rooms. The super cozy atmosphere of this restaurant is what I love. We started with the grilled octopus. It is the Mediterranean on a plate with fingerling potatoes sautéed with olives and feta and tomatoes, and grilled octopus that all paired so well that you felt like your were transcended to the Mediterranean. We ordered a whole bottle of wine with the starter. For dinner we ordered the Cioppino (a seafood stew of sorts) The fennel broth was delicious and not overpowering. It included fish of the day which was mahi-mahi shrimp, mussels, and calamari one of my favorite dishes and the iron bridge did not disappoint. My husband ordered the Farro grain that included a vinaigrette sauce as his side with mahi-mahi as the main, which was the fish of the day.and broccolini. The serving was well satisfying, and the taste of this dish with all the components really went well together. We did not order dessert but their deserts are Terrific as we have enjoyed them before. The Cappuccino was a large mug that didn't need sugar because it was made how it should be made. Service was super attentive with not just 1 person tending to our table but the whole waitstaff was either removing dishes or bringing our food, out, it was a collaborative effort. We will go back! !"
