"Went to Thousand Oaks. Café went in and ordered the cheese enchilada plate to go as I was sitting at the bar waiting for my food. I’m facing the kitchen. I saw them put my food in the microwave in the to go box and then put it on the to go shelf when the lady went to bag up by food, I said to her I just watched your cook put my food in the to go container in the microwave and now you’re giving it to me she said well that’s the way we have it done with well if that’s the case then where do they get the enchiladas from that they serve in the restaurant, needless to say I was very disappointed have a catering company myself do not own a microwave but to pay $12.37 for a meal that came out of the microwave was terrible ."

Love, love, love this place. It’s become a “must go to” when I travel to San Antonio. The food is yummy. Unassuming menu that leaves you wanting for seconds. Definitely recommend.

They have been there forever for a reason, food is always served piping hot by servers with a pleasant attitude. Favorite of mine is the puffy tacos. Chilaquiles are outstanding too.

Only been there once, I've searched for good Menudo con pata everywhere in SA. You wouldn't think it, but best I've come across. Good flavor, good balance and corn tortillas made right. My place for it now. View menu

Tortillas... chef's kiss! These are the freshest tortillas I've ever had at a restaurant! I didn't get a picture of the tortillas, but here's a photo of my plate instead. And the corn tortillas were spot on!

I was unexpectedly surprised to find that this restaurant is a Mexican establishment rather than something akin to Jim's or IHOP. The service, however, was outstanding, and the staff were very dedicated and hard-working. In terms of Mexican cuisine, I wouldn't rank it among the top 25, but it definitely has its merit.
