"Had their Gyro sandwich today and really enjoyed it. Though the gyro meat was of the pre-packaged type it was tender, juicy and well-seasoned. The pita bread tasted very fresh: fluffy, soft and an undertone of sweetness. I liked the chopped tomatoes rather than the typical few large chunks you get elsewhere. White sauce was ample and excellent. Free garnish of pickled hot peppers. $9.99 was a bit expensive but the quantity of meat was huge. If I wasn't such a piggy today I would have brought half of it back home. But I couldn't stop eating. There are about six tables outside if you want to eat there. No dining inside right now. The place was clean and the counter person friendly and helpful. A definite return is planned and I'll try something else."

I tried a kebab plate. It's amazing. I have no other words... I suggest asking for a few different sauces, they're all very good. Was initially skeptical about the price, but you get big portions. Definitely return

Fast friendly service! I'm in town on business and needed a quick lunch. I popped in around 11:45 and was out in five mins with my to-go food. The portion was huge and very tasty. I got the shawarma and gyro plate.

Visit Toronto and found this beautiful place while searching for the web for good Mediterranean cuisine! Adrianna went out her way to ask us how many people we ordered, and was super honest about portion sizes. She let us honestly know how much food we should get instead of letting us do more than what our group needs. All the staff we met were super friendly and the customer service was excellent. All from the kebabs, ktikka, salads etc. were all super fresh and delicious! Your parts were also generous. Very happy we chose this place from anywhere we found on Google. We definitely come back when we're in San Diego!

"I adore this restaurant. Golden Hill is filled with many many quality eateries, and Counterpoint anchors the neighborhood with it's fun atmosphere and dedication to quality. They recently renovated and the new space is open, airy and provides a variety of seating options: bar seating, restaurant seating, and upper balcony (I use this as a quiet place to WFH during the week), and an outdoor patio. I'm partial to the biscuit and gravy for breakfast, but the brined chicken and waffles or breakfast hash always makes me smile and sends me unto the world with a better outlook on life and a doggie bag. When it's hot, delicious crunchy salads are on the lunch menu and the craft beers and unique slushy flavors change. Counterpoint takes the quality of food and libations seriously. The craft cocktails rotate as the bartenders are encouraged to explore and grow. The owner and team are always warm, welcoming and make sure you have a good experience. Did I mention they are DOG friendly? Definitely worth the trip up the hill from downtown if you're looking to wind down after an event or precharge and eat before a baseball game. I love to bring my friends for a snack (try the olive selection) and chat on a twilight night. Space heaters outside if you get cold. Fans inside if you get warm. Honestly if you live in or are visiting the 92102 area code you should go to Counterpoint: good food, really good cocktails, and great company. It is clear that this establishment cares about quality, cares about your comfort and loves if you have a good time."
