Tokyo Sushi - Menu

I got the two sushi roll combo, I got this whole thing plus soup for super cheap. Very good sushi and very quick wait time.

We were a little worried going in because we are from out of town and had never tried this place but it was fantastic. Best sushi I’ve had in a long time!

Ginger dressing is top notch! Some of the sushi was a little disappointing but over all it was a good experience. The chicken teriyaki smelled amazing! Well definitely be back.

The sushi rolls, fried rice, and hibachi are all absolutely delicious! The chicken in the fried rice is tender and moist, which I really appreciated. However, I would love to see an option for smoked salmon in their Philadelphia rolls. A delivery option would also be convenient, but it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, I had a great experience with this restaurant!

Ordered from here twice on a Thursday (to go), can’t say enough good things about the sushi. It was the best I’ve had so far in area (aka Utica, New Hartford, Herkimer) idk if it’s cuz of fresh delivery or what because my sister who ordered from them more often, and on all days of the week raves that every time I bring it, it’s the best she’s had from there. I ordered the "Godzilla," which was supposed to be a cooked tuna roll topped with caviar. They forgot the caviar (though I didn't notice until later, haha), but I still paid for it, and that shouldn't have happened. While I waited for my food, all I heard coming from the kitchen was coughing and hacking. The food itself tasted good, but the bathroom was dirty, the menu was grimy, and even the tip jars were unclean. With all the coughing I heard, I can only imagine the state of the kitchen as well. I ended up eating there anyway, but I definitely needed a drink afterward. Good luck!

Overall...nice restaurant!! I ordered the Spicy Tokyo Chicken with fried rice! Excellent!! Since no fork was given to me, I was forced to eat with chopsticks, which wasn't that bad! It was my first time eating an entire Asian meal with chopsticks! Maybe I'll do it again! ??. As mentioned, the Spicy Tokyo Chicken was very good with an excellent tangy dipping sauce! I'd definitely order it again! The only negative...the wait time to get my food was unacceptable!! There were only two people taking orders, running food, cashing people out, etc. The young male (approximately 16 or 17) was really nice, but he needed help! Overall...a good place for authentic Japanese cuisine.

This sushi restaurant offers a wide variety of specialty options, both cooked and raw. I tried the two rolls for $10 special, and the crunchy spicy tuna was a definite highlight for me. Not wanting to run short, I also ordered the veggie tempura for $8. Let me tell you, this was not just a side dish; it was an enormous plate piled high with tempura. I ended up taking home about 60% of it! After tax, my total came to just over $20. The sushi was fantastic, and it even came with a delicious fried item (featured in the center of the picture) that I couldn't quite identify, but it was incredible.
