Tony Luke's - Menu

Ordered a couple of steak subs for my son and I. The bread was amazing and a good portion size. Meat was a little bland, but was good overall.

I was there last night with some friends. It took 20 minutes to get out order. Buffalo chicken was awesome, the fries were salty? though , and roast pork was delicious. There were lots of people and really liked the atmosphere.

I had high expectations! I ordered a chicken cheesesteak with cheese whiz, no tomatoes, but I received a beef cheesesteak without the cheese whiz! I don't eat red meat! It was too far to go back. Luckily, I ordered wings as well! They were good, but lacked seasoning or sauce. I'm really disappointed that I spent so much and can't eat the hoagie I ordered! Please double-check your orders! The staff was quite reserved and didn't offer much assistance. The service was slow. I overheard them telling a neighboring business, just two doors down, that they couldn't deliver an order of fries there, even if it was an online order. I didn't appreciate that. I used to work at Tony Luke's in Philly, and the service there was much better. Additionally, I was not a fan of how the bacon fries were served in a bag.

Tony Luke's chicken wings are an absolute disaster. It's as if they stumbled into the kitchen drunk and accidentally threw together a sorry excuse for wings. These wings are so flimsy and tasteless that even a starving homeless person would turn them down without hesitation. The mere thought of these wings is enough to make anyone question their life choices. The fries were great and the music was good but unless you want to have stomach pains for about a week, don’t eat the wings.

The food was excellent, but the staff seemed a bit unprofessional. The person who took our order had a runny nose and didn't make eye contact with me at all. He seemed a bit overly energetic and kept leaving the area abruptly to blow his nose. I regretted accepting the cup he handed me. While the food itself was delicious, the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable. The employees rarely engaged with us or acknowledged our presence. Awww man, where do I start.... Spent $30 on cheeseburger (cheese and ketchup only) with fries. Cheese steak (mayo, lettuce, pickles and banana peppers). The fries were hot and fresh but loaded with salt. The cheeseburger was good. Took 3 bites out of the cheese steak and had to toss it. Absolutely disgusted!! No flavor, under cooked and the bread was hard. A few hours later and my stomach is upset. Currently puking my brains out at 3:40AM, because of FOOD POISONING. Haven't been able to eat anything since about 4PM, not a good way to end my last night on vacation. I wish I would have read the recent reviews b4 I decide to try this place.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered a veggie sub and I'm still waiting for the vegetables to arrive. The few items that did come were terrible. I tried six wings that had to be reheated because they were undercooked. I didn't know it was possible to make a smash burger so thin—only about 4 millimeters thick. Without the lettuce and tomatoes, it would have been practically non-existent. The onion rings were decent, but that was the only bright spot. We spent $40 for a meal that was essentially a waste! I'm sure people in Philly would be outraged. This place gets a zero out of zero. Thankfully, my wife packed some food and veggies for our trip.

Everything else at the restaurant was fine, but I need to focus on the wings. In my opinion, they could easily be classified as a crime against taste for anyone unfortunate enough to order them. Don’t let your hopes get too high; the first bite will leave you feeling furious, the second will bring on sadness, and by the third, you’ll just be resigned to your fate. I ended up tossing 9 wings. I don’t mean to be harsh; I’m just genuinely disappointed. It’s always possible that the wings you desire don't align with what a particular restaurant offers—there are different styles, after all.
