"Amazing experience at Toro! We had reservations for 5:45 at the chef’s counter. After arriving a little early (kitchen opens at 5:30 we grabbed drinks at the bar and the hostess sat us at a table fifteen minutes earlier than what we reserved!! If you like Moscow mules, definitely order the Baby Stormi! Everything on the menu was absolutely delicious and everything came out in a timely fashion. Some of our favorites: the Iberian ham (reminded us of our trip to Barcelona , the tuna tartare (wow — those crispy shallots really made the dish! , and the garlic shrimp (do yourself a favor and order it TWICE . The ambiance has a cozy but industrial feel to it, perfect for date night or grabbing dinner with friends and family. Staff is extremely friendly. Can’t wait to come back!"

Fantastic, but the Boston location is a bit better but I’m biased

We came close in front of the kitchen, but they took or order without hesitating and everything was great. View menu

I would recommend this restaurant for tapas and sangria. The Paella Mixto was too smoky for my taste. I had paella at Boqueria in D.C. last year and the level of smokiness was just right.

Cool place, but the paella was terrible : I was looking forward to the paella so much and it was a huge disappointment. Everything else was pretty good, very cool restaurant, good service, great drinks, good music, speak easy in the back is nice.

We have dined at Toro for the third time and once again we were impressed. The food was delicious, the service was attentive but not intrusive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely be returning and will recommend this restaurant to our friends. View menu

Food was out of this world amazing, but our server seemed annoyed that we wouldn’t order alcohol and basically blew us off the entire visit. Another waiter ended up refilling our drinks, bringing our food, and another cleared the table. Would have given the review 5 stars overall if it were not for her horrid attitude.

Excellent tapas served in an industrial chic room. Despite the size of the place, our table felt clamped in a section of the restaurant next to the kitchen counter. Many great parties throughout the rest of the room made me think that this place is ideal for a birthday party or group meal. The scaffold on the building made the entrance difficult to find.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
