I had the pleasure of enjoying the delicious Voodoo Chicken dish! The service was great, and I dined in for dinner.

Glad we spotted this place last minute, they were able to get us in in a timely manner and the service was wonderful. Mike was our server, very knowledgeable and good conversation. We come here 3 to 6 times a year. It's nice to be recognized. Service is always cheerful. Even tho seating inside is limited, it still does get pretty loud for holding a conversation at your table. Nevertheless, it is a charming place. We had drinks, appetizers, and desserts for about $55/person, including tip. Parking: In evening, you can park in PO lot across the street. We started with an appetizer that I can't quite recall the name of, but it was delicious shrimp wrapped in bacon—so good! For my main course, I ordered one of their specials: Mahi Barbados paired with a margarita, and it was all just marvelous! As someone with Cajun roots, the chocolate bread pudding we shared for dessert wasn't what I expected, but it was still really tasty—don't get me wrong! Our server, Michael, was fantastic and attentive, and they cheerfully provided boxes for our leftovers. You definitely need to give Tortugas a try! I went to eat here last week with my parents for their anniversary. I informed the staff that I had food allergies. The staff helping us was very nice and helped me modify the food item I wanted to make sure it included no gluten or dairy. Unfortunately the food did cause me to have an allergic reaction because there was dairy in it, and I ended up having to miss work the next day because of the reaction. I do not want anything negative to happen to the staff as they were very helpful, but I do want this place to be more mindful of potential cross contamination!
