Vapiano - Menu

we visited a busy evening in June and really appreciated the idea of the credit card payment system. food was good and not too expensive.

It's kind of fast food. You order behind the cook's counter, they prepare your plate in front of you, you settle and eat, and pay out. pasta is good. 10-15€/size what suits me.

this guy, first of all, didn't look totally clean. Anyway, how can I be sure? But watching him prepare my dish of pasta (starting pasta in the pan, then almost randomly ingredients) just made me think: hey, I can do it better at home, why pay a dubious guy to do it for me?

vapiano has a simple concept, freshly cooked/prepared dishes in front of the customer. order your pasta/risotto/salade and it's for you while you wait at the counter. Pizzas cooked while you wait at your table. reasonable prices but not cheap and I was surprised by the final invoice for four of us. however good wine, very tasty food, pleasant staff. Hit the place! It is not a Lyon experience but we enjoyed it.

The concept is between the cafeteria, where nothing is served at the table, and the canteen.On arrival at 12:30, a warm welcome by a waiter who did not understand that a shirt is buttoned! after having taken the explanations of the operating mode, to you the course.......Surprise at 12:30 in pasta restaurant the tagliatelles are broken !!!!!!!! and even worse more parmesan!!!!!!!!! then instead you will have mozzarella ! I went to this restaurant a few times. The first time I really liked it, but last Saturday night, I think the system they use couldn't cope with a lot of people. We were four and two opted for pizza, which was good, but my son and I wanted pasta. at the time we had a tail and waited for our dishes to be cooked, the other two had finished their food. they operate a queue system, you choose a type of dish, such as pasta, salad or pizza and you join the queue accordingly. the wait line of the salads was empty but the pasta cooks could not face the demand. !! overall, the food was good but we felt dissatisfied with all the experience.
