"This was our second visit to the Vue in about 10 days. The first time there the service, food and atmosphere was five stars. Best seafood and service we'd had in a long time. We ate on the patio yesterday afternoon. The view is beautiful and we would highly recommend it to anyone. The restaurant was not very busy while we were there. Our problem yesterday was the service. We were seated and received water pretty quickly. After that we didn't see any wait staff for well over 15 minutes. The waiter was friendly when he did finally arrive and we opted to order drinks and food at that time for fear we might not see him again. The food arrived pretty quickly and was excellent delivered by other wait staff. After our food arrived the waiter never came back to see that our water and drink glasses were empty he was MIA. Maybe a little retraining for the less experienced staff?"

Very nice dinner in a nice atmosphere. Our server Rosemary was very nice and attentive. The chef also came by to see how we were enjoying our meals. My husband loved the Halibut and my shrimp and scallops were very good as well. We loved the key lime mouse for dessert. Nice wine list. A very nice dinner

I celebrated my engagement with my fiancé at The Vue. Her and I were lucky enough to be served by Melinda. Melinda had fantastic service, great energy, and was very generous to us regarding the occasion. Sometimes going to an upper end restaurant can be stressful but the service made us very welcomed and comfortable. And of course the food, drinks, and desert was delicious. Best dinner we could ask for after an engagement. We absolutely will be coming back to The Vue next time we are in Destin.
