"The real deal. Everything was absolutely delicious. Brisket, ribs, shrimp, corn, potatoes, sausage, and eggs. The whole family, down to the two year old, was in heaven. The bbq sauce was one of the best I've ever had, I really wish I had picked up a bottle. Not at all spicy as another reviewer said (my toddler can back me up there). Ordered online ahead of time. Glad I checked in early because they were out of grits and I picked a substitute (not sad, the other shrimp platter we did instead came with the best potatoes and eggs ever, that garlic sauce is gold). It does take a bit, but it's 100% worth it. It probably wouldn't be what it is faster.There's a picnic table, but we took our food to a park down the road. Definitely adding this to our regular spot coming in and out of Tampa when we come to town. And next time I'll think to take pics of the food, but honestly, if you like real BBQ, you don't need them."

"I visited Martha's the other day on my lunch break because I love mom and pop restaurants and I have never hit this one before. Service was great. Food was alright. I ordered breakfast for lunch. A little bland. Price was average. Flies everywhere which made it a little less enjoyable. I will definitely come back and try again with a different entree."

"The ribs were incredibly tender, falling right off the bone, and packed with so much flavor that I didn't even need to add any sauce. The collard greens were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, and the baked beans had a delightful sweet and smoky taste that I really enjoyed. The portions were generous, and everyone was too full for dessert, but we did take home some chocolate and apple cake, which was equally amazing! The service was outstanding, with all the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I don't say this often, but this restaurant is definitely worth a drive, even if you don’t live nearby. We will absolutely be returning!"
