"Without a doubt, this is the best authentic Mexican food in the area, with a distinct California style. I will definitely be returning here regularly. First of all, the elote, which I usually enjoy on the cob, is just as delicious served in a cup. The rice tastes just like how my mom used to make it, bringing back wonderful memories of my childhood meals. The asada and pastor tacos are incredibly tasty, reminiscent of the taco trucks you find on any California street corner. My wife had the birria tacos, and they were just as delightful. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for the best Mexican food around!"

West Coast Taco Shop is the BEST! The cashier (owner's son) is very kind and attentive. He answered all of our questions and genuinely cared about our young son's soccer team. Outside of that, the food is top notch! I just wish they would bottle their hot sauce!

I had much higher expectations than what west coast delivered. Prices are reasonable and I liked they had a couple of beers to choose from. My food was not hot which really irks me. The tacos are bland and not very exciting. There’s better options in town for tacos. View menu

Just a typical small hole in the wall taco shop that you would see in SoCal. I ordered the Fajita Meal. I asked or extra veggies for the rice and beans (Keto). It was amazing. I tried ONE tortilla and, of course, it was delicious. Aside from the clutter, it was pretty clean.

I highly recommend this restaurant! It truly offers the best Mexican food we've experienced in the Nashville area during our 10 years of living here. We ordered the chicken fajitas, and the grilled chicken and veggies were absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful as well. Even though we live 40 minutes away, we've already begun planning our return visit because the food is such excellent quality at such an affordable price.
