"It all started when my wife and I had reservations at a certain fondue restaurant that shall remain nameless. We arrived at 6:45 just to be shooed away like common riff raff, told that they didn 't have us down for the reservation I booked a MONTH in advance and furthermore did not have the vegan cheese option we requested ahead of time.So that left me scrambling as we were all dressed up with nowhere to go. I googled to see if there was someplace equally classy to eat at. There were a couple of high end steakhouses in the area and a few chain restaurants of note, but I wanted something a bit more regal sounding that matches my wife and i 's lifestyle. Lo and behold, I found there was a restaurant in town located in a literal castle! We arrived around 7:30 but felt awful because we had not pre-booked our reservation. I gave my keys to a rather scraggly looking valet who coughed a bunch and scratched himself like he had fleas. He mumbled something as I watched him pull behind the building with my car and then around the block and kept driving. I guess the lot is off-property.When we arrived, I was surprised to find that we had free reign to sit wherever we wanted! I chose a very convenient spot near the counter. To my surprise, the ordering is similar to a French Cafe! I greated the young lady behind the counter. "Bonjour madam! "She clicked her gum and tapped her rainbow colored nails on the register in rhythmic fashion. "What can I get you, sweetheart? "I have to admit, I was blushing at her straightforward advances. I had to keep my composure as I requested to know the house special. "We got sliders, sliders with cheese, onion chips are pretty good. You can get a sack of those. Ever had chicken rings? "I was ashamed to admit I had not. It 's amazing to realize that not only were we lucky enough to dine in a castle, I could get rings for my dearly betrothed. I ordered onion chips, two jalapeño cheese sliders (so exotic! And a medium order of their finest of rings.I have to say, the food was exquisite. The sliders are like the burgers I had at Gordon Ramsay 's Vegas restaurant, but bite sized like tapas. The rings and onion chips came with their own unique sauces that danced on our palates. As I approached the counter to leave a generous tip for our waitress, I was met with a very seductive "goodnight hun! "Such service! Such gourmet delights! If only I knew where that valet went..."

Lady that took our order was friendly. Food order was correct. They had one item that was out-of-stock which I was able to substitute something else of my choice.

Haven't had White Castle for a long time, but tonight was the night. Food was good and the service was good as well. $8.99 Cheesy 10 sack is a solid deal right now. ?

I came through the drive at 12:30 and left after 1 hour. there were only 3 cars in the driveway. When I finally got into the window, I had to wait about 10 minutes for my drink, but immediately get my lunch. food: 4/5

Bathroom was disgusting. I thought maybe somehow, when I walked through the door, I was transported to the bathroom in a garage.Grease appeared to be caked on the POS and receipt printer.I get that it was busy, and they had a long line of cars in the drive through, but it looked like no one had cleaned the bathroom in a week. As far as White Castle goes, this location deserves a solid five-star rating. The food was neither cold nor stale; it was hot and fresh, which makes for a wonderful quick meal. The service was excellent, with smiles and friendly conversation, even though we arrived late. Our order was prepared exactly as we requested. Overall, a fantastic White Castle experience. Food: 5/5.

I have to admit, I wasn't having the best day when I visited, and life's challenges were weighing me down. However, the courteous and friendly demeanor of the staff definitely lifted my spirits. I've encountered a lot of rude service elsewhere, so I truly appreciate how valuable, hardworking, and efficient their employees are. I will always look forward to returning to this restaurant and will gladly recommend it to anyone I know!

The guy wouldn't take two orders at the drive thru. No one was in line behind us and no one was in front of us as we pulled around. I paid and accepted the first order, drove around again and placed the second order (no wait). No one was there but us. Ridiculous. I could have understood if there was a line but since when don't they accept two orders. Not very happy about that and if there was a line I would have extremely mad that only one of would have gotten to eat there. View menu

Every time I've visited this place on the third floor, the service has been exceptional, especially when the bartender is working. Even when the restaurant is busy, they manage the lines effectively. One great feature is that they make their shakes and smoothies in-house rather than relying on pre-made machines like other places, such as McDonald's. Their machines are well-maintained and never out of order. The staff cleans the machines regularly to ensure high quality, which allows them to focus on serving customers efficiently. I believe laziness can often hinder performance, but this location in Alum Creek and Livingston stands out as the best in all of Columbus!

Giving a new meaning to the word fast food, this one takes the cake as the possibly slowest service imaginable. It 's almost as if they are trying to be as slow as possible so that customers leave in a fury than to rather have to make the food. Me and a friend once waited over 3 HOURS in a line four cars long at 3AM because at that point we were invested. Of course, upon driving away, we realized they had messed up on the details of our food, but at that point we were famished and said to hell with them . The food was greasy and great, but it just makes you lose a little faith in humanity to see people so sluggish and life-hating and with zero work pride. Maybe an in house staff cleaning is...

"Food quality Service Ambiance Value Menu selection Location/Accessibility Overall experience Date visited: 11/11/2023 During a weekend excursion to the vibrant city of Columbus, I seized the opportunity to indulge my palate in the diverse and rich flavors of Indian cuisine at Aab India Restaurant. Accompanied by my dining companion, KK, our culinary escapade unfolded with the promise of an extraordinary dining experience. Arriving just before noon, we found the exterior of Aab India unassuming, a subtle facade that betrayed little of the culinary marvels concealed within. The challenge of parking, however, proved a minor detour on our quest for gastronomic bliss. Having secured a spot in the Big Lot parking lot down the street, we waited outside, eagerly anticipating the moment when the doors would swing open to reveal the warmth and aromatic allure that awaited us. As the clock struck 12, the portal to this culinary haven opened, and we eagerly sought refuge from the brisk autumn air. A gracious staff member ushered us to a neatly arranged table, allowing my companion to peruse the menu while I immersed myself in the restaurant's ambiance. The interior unfolded with systematic organization—tables optimized for space, a bar counter adorned with a curated collection hinting at a storied history, and at the far end, a buffet counter laden with an enticing array of Indian culinary treasures. The decor, an elegant fusion of warmth and antiquity, transported diners to a bygone era. With its antique-inspired ceiling, floor, and furnishings, Aab India exuded an authenticity that promised an immersive dining experience. The warm color palette and tantalizing aroma further heightened the anticipation, especially as I imagined the ambiance taking on a magical allure as daylight gave way to night. Choosing the all-you-can-eat buffet, we joined a queue that mirrored our eagerness to explore the Indian culinary landscape. Labels adorned each tray, providing glimpses into the myriad dishes that awaited us. My plate became a canvas for a symphony of flavors—a scoop of herbal basmati rice, curry that was a departure from the familiar Chicken Tikka Masala, naan bread, fresh vegetables, and a dessert whose uniqueness intrigued my senses. Returning to our table, the first bites were revelations. The curry, a choreography of spices, danced on my palate, and the naan bread, while exemplary on its own, ascended to sublime heights when dipped in the curry. KK, fully immersed in the experience, relished basmati rice, Chicken Tikka, and an assortment of vegetables with evident delight. In the midst of our culinary reverie, an attentive waitress graced our table, ensuring our glasses remained filled. A managerial or culinary presence, keen on enhancing our experience, paid a gracious visit, adding a personal touch to our culinary journey. Our senses satiated and the ambiance savored, we lingered a while before bidding adieu to the burgeoning crowd. Overwhelmed by the newfound popularity, we settled the bill, generously tipping for the delightful fare and attentive service—a mere $16 per person, a paltry sum for the culinary symphony we had indulged in. Overall, Aab India Restaurant emerges as an unparalleled gem in the culinary scene of Columbus. A haven for those seeking not just a meal but a gastronomic journey, it stands as a testament to the alluring wonders of Indian cuisine. As I departed, the promise echoed—an assurance that whenever Columbus beckons, Aab India will be my chosen sanctuary for an encore of extraordinary flavors and warm hospitality."
