"It's unfortunate that the business doesn't follow the posted hours of operation. Saying that last call took place at 9:59 pm when the business listed as closing at 12 am is clearly some most would consider as misadvertising. If you stop serving before10 pm then please adjust your hours of operation. UPDATE: Wyatt I appreciate you getting back to me and I made a visit backthis weekend and can definitely say that it is a solid joint for both food and drink."

What a hidden gem! The food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. The bartender took the time to learn about our preferences and suggested the perfect draft beers for us!

Fantastic local spot. Very well priced. The staff works diligently to have excellent, newly hand-picked draft selections on rotation that you can't find anywhere else. Give them your business! View menu

The grilled tuna sandwich is one of the best of any place I’ve ever had it! The salads are really great too, and they have a ton of beers to choose from. I enjoyed a Maine Wolfe’s Neck IPA draft, that was delicious. It’s a really nice place to be, we’re definitely looking forward to our next trip! View menu

It's unfortunate that the establishment does not adhere to its posted hours of operation. Announcing last call at 9:59 PM when the business is advertised as closing at midnight could definitely be seen as misleading. If you stop serving before 10 PM, please consider updating your hours of operation. UPDATE: Wyatt, thank you for your response. I returned this weekend and can confidently say it's a great spot for both food and drinks.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
