"we had a great experience. the food and service while eating were perfect. however, the tall girl in boots setting tables outside this past saturday was extremely rude to my husband. she didn't make eye contact and dismissed my hubby and his question about eating outside. we had a reservation and apparently outdoor dining is first come first serve but she could not be bothered. everyone else was extremely professional."

Went for my birthday loved it! We had 6 adults my 1yr old they were so accommodating helpful! The food was delicious the staff is so great!! Maja Phoebe are the best! We can't wait to go back!

Server neglected to place my sushi order. When asked she said it’s made to order. Then she goes and puts in the order. I can hear the ticket print out at the sushi station. She straight lied to me.

We visited on our vacation and took a chance on this place. Everything was tasty and sitting outside was fun (a bit loud though). We ordered a couple of different sushi rolls nigiri and also some cold sake.

Yama is very good. Mostly enjoy it. They lack more sophisticated fish options. From my perspective they are the third best sushi option as far as fish quality and creativity behind Matsuhisa and Joy Sushi in West Vail. View menu

Overpriced, not well done. Miso soup and edamame were good. The rest was not worth the price. $150. We got 4 piece of sashimi , half a bowl of udon, miso, edamame. I am Bummed. I honestly probably will not eat here again. The service was good. The gals were on it. If you charge these prices at least nail the food guys! Good luck!

I enjoyed everything about this place. We went to a very high rated, popular restaurant the night before and their sushi was a disappointment. We decided we wanted a re-do so stopped in at Yama the following evening. We walked into a busy dining room but were able to sit at the bar. The service was fantastic and the ladies helping us were personable and welcoming! The rolls were well made and tasted good.
