"My boyfriend and I tried this place today. We were super excited because the reviews seemed awesome. Our salads were great. Our appetizer came out and appeared dark, the cauliflower. It tasted fine. Our meals came out and my steak was unevenly cooked, and was rare in some areas. I couldn’t eat it. The Brussels sprouts were completely burnt that I was surprised it was even put on a plate. When you pay $58 for a plate of food my expectations are higher than what I was given. I waited for a long time before our server check on us and then I asked for new sprouts and was given, again, darkened burnt sprouts. The server didn’t even ask why I didn’t eat them- she just removed them from the table. My boyfriends pork chop was good, but the sweet potato purée on top of what tasted and felt like applesauce, the entire dish was overly sweet. The sides of the corn bread were stale, and had to be older corn bread that was served. Considering our bill was $200, I expected the food to be way better and the only good food was the salad and app. Unfortunately i won’t be returning here and it felt like a bust."

"We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at the exchange for 30ish people and it could not have been more perfect. All the food came out at the same time, and was top quality. The bar drinks were great and moved along quickly as well. We had numerous people tell us that was the best rehearsal dinner experience they’ve ever had. The price was very fair as well, considering all we purchased. I can’t recommend them enough!"

"I actually thought it was a pizza place run by Albanians, but it turns out that it's just in reference to New Albany, a town across the river from Louisville. Somewhere between there and here, I crossed into the Midwest, it seemed to me. I ordered two pizzas; there was no online ordering so I called and did it the old fashioned way, which worked fine. They gave me a pickup time and it was ready within a couple of minutes of that. It was an indulgent menu and not the best for my taste (particularly given that you couldn't get a salad without meat , but I came seeking their diverse and confusingly named pizza styles. The upside down (basically a Detroit style came with dollops of sauce on top and the roundhouse (vaguely Chicago-ish? had an even more substantial rim of browned cheese. Two pizzas of the smaller size available had quite a heft to them, and I'll be eating the leftovers for days. For me it was just all a bit too much; in terms of fat, salt, and an overall sense of indulgence. I can't really fault them because I suspect they succeed at what they're trying to do, but it's the kind of pizza you recover from eating."

"This place is truly amazing! The ambiance, the friendly staff, the delicious food, and the beer were all exceptional. The owners, Brian and Julie, are doing a fantastic job of bringing something fresh to downtown. We decided to stop by on Saturday night for an impromptu birthday dinner, and it was definitely the right decision. The two-man acoustic band provided the perfect backdrop for our meal, playing classic favorites that allowed us to enjoy our conversation. I tried an IPA called Mozaik and absolutely loved it. The food menu features clever band-themed names, and there’s a wide variety to please everyone. I highly recommend checking it out! Support local by eating and drinking here!"
