"Despite living in the area for years, this was our first time here. It was excellent. We were greeted warmly by a very friendly women. It is a small older style diner type place. They have counter seating as well as a sufficient amount of tables. Right off the start we both noticed the cleanliness. Everything looked very clean. The decor is appropriate for the age of the space (guessing from the 50’s or styled that way). If you are looking for a hoity toity place, not for you. But if you like nostalgia it’s a go. The food was good, fresh and plentiful. It was served hot and with the same pleasantness as we were greeted. Found out that it is mother son owned. Mother is a waitress and son the cook chef. They have owned it about 4 years. I could see where if they are busy you might have to wait a little. But to me that is a positive. Prices were reasonable and comparable to other similar places. First time, but will not be our last! We will have to give their lunch a try also. Give them a go, betting you will enjoy it also!"

"This is a food counter inside a convenient store. I think any chicken dish can be taken in a cheaper lunch special option with one side. I went for a j chicken with rice and peas and a side of fried plantains. J chicken was super flavorful, and nicely spicy. I would return just for the j chicken. Mango curry chicken was ok. Side of baked mac and cheese and candied yam were both ok. Candied yam cutely sits in the food counter topped with marshmallows. The sight is irresistible. But fried plantains are the best side."

"This is an awesome restaurant!! Not only is the food AMAZING, the price is reasonable and the STAFF is friendly and efficient. George and his wife are the most generous and caring people ever. Please visit their website to see the specials. All food made on the premises every day. They offer curbside pickup. Can 't wait till they are open again for eat in."

"Hubby and I came on a Wednesday or Thursday night when they had .50 wings. We got 20 assorted flavors and then ordered a calzone to split. Idk if it was a bad night for them, but nothing was really good. There 's a CAROLINA REAPER flavor for the wings.. I was expecting it to burn my face off considering it was in all upper case letters on the menu, but it was a huge let down. Not in the least bit spicy, their regular spicy buffalo is hotter. The Jamaican Jerk... lol tastes like they just fried the wings and tossed it in some kind of McCormick seasoning and called it jerk, it was also too salty. Our favorite part of the whole meal that night was the blue cheese and carrot sticks.. what does that tell you? Anyways, we were invited out last Friday night, and our friends picked Main Street Grille, honestly after the experience we had on .50 wing day, we weren 't too interested, but met up with them anyways. Idk if it was b/c of the company or the atmosphere or the great live band that was playing, but everything that night was killer! I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, it 's lighter than I usually expect for Alfredo sauce, but still had good flavor and the grilled chicken was cooked perfectly. My meal also came with a choice of soup or salad, I picked the French onion soup and it 's probably one of my favorite places to get it now lol. Hubby ordered spicy buffalo wings w/ blue cheese and a side of Baked Mac N Cheese. He also enjoyed everything. Their side of baked Mac n cheese is huge! I 'm honestly baffled at the two different experiences, and they were only a week apart.. I 'm sure we will be back, hopefully it 's another great experience! I love the live music on Friday nights and the karaoke night on Saturday."

"I went through the drive-thru, and the experience was quick and accurate. They even included napkins in my bag and asked if I wanted ketchup at the window. The rolls were fresh, and the fries were hot and delicious—everything was perfect. I really enjoyed my meal. I want to give it 5 stars instead of 4, but I would appreciate a bit more courtesy from the person taking my order. A simple "Can I help you?" or even just a "Hi" or "Hello" would be nice. Also, I've noticed that the regular cheeseburgers seem to be getting smaller. I'd rather see an increase in prices than a decrease in size. Maybe I’m just getting older, but I miss receiving a receipt!"
