"Zorba's tavern was a stop for us that was not planned. We happen to be walking through Philadelphia and we decided that we wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. The food here was authentic Greek cooking. Boy did this take us by surprise as it was one of the best meals we had while in Philadelphia. Their staff was the most polite and the most friendly and the food was utterly amazing. If you're in downtown Philly and close to Zorba's, you must stop here.Best Gyro anywhere!!"

Fantastic Greek lunch, excellent service. A great place to take a date or to have a lunch meeting. Get the leg of lamb that's what you're here for, and don't be shy about that appetizer sampler its too freaking fantastic!

Relaxed greek atmosphere with beautiful art and decorations that perfectly accompanied the best meal I've had in philly by a long shot so far. This is the only place we talked about returning to eat. Please come here. PS: we did return.

We really enjoyed Zorba's Tavern. We should have gone there sooner. We had a table on the sidewalk, where we enjoyed grilled octopus, a vegetarian dish, and a gyro. They were all very tasty. I definitely recommend this restaurant.Food: 5/5 View menu

This has got to be the Absolute best Greek food this side of the city!! The staff was very professional and helpful. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the cuisine. I seen a pan of magical baklava pass by me, that is going to be next!!!!!
