"Cool understated vibe. Excellent service (super kind and attentive). Lighting was a little dim and the music was a little loud, depending on how you feel about these things. I was into it. We dine early and it was pretty empty when we got there but almost full when we left.We had the focaccia (amazing) and gem lettuce (recommend). The margarita pizza was what you’d expect, executed very well. Very tasty sauce. The crust is a little limp but that’s the style. The bottom has some char. The cacio y pepe pizza was awesome it’s cheesy corn!! The corn was so sweet clearly from some farm or something, not what you get at the grocery store. Excellent balance of flavors and very trendy rn. Highly recommend. We only ordered one sauce (pesto) and it was a little meh. I felt a bit pressured to order a sauce cause it’s “their thing” but I wasn’t so into it. Maybe if you were with a group and ordered multiple to try… but honestly all the food was so good on its own, I felt the sauce didn’t add much IMHO. But maybe we just ordered the wrong one.For dessert we got the chocolate mint Sunday. I’m not a mint fan but it was *so* faint you honestly might now know it’s there. The gelato must be House made the flavor is rich and creamy, though the texture is a bit icy. The brownie was amazing. It’s a generous size we split it and didn’t finish, but we were also both quite full by the time it arrived. Another time I’d try one of the more interesting flavors. We followed dinner with a leisurely stroll around Little Island (5min walk away, basically across the street) which was the perfect post dinner walk."

"Pretty spectacular sushi with a bit of a twist. Rosella comes from alumnus of Uchiko, a famed sushi restaurant from Austin (and one of my favorite restaurants ever), so I had to check it out. Our server was great with helping us navigate the menu since it's a little different from most sushi restaurants. Highlight of the day was probably the pickled mussel nigiri but everything we had was delicious. Overall, highly recommended for those who love sushi but want to tread off the beaten path."

"Stopped in for an espresso and chocolate chip cookie. Espresso was bright and clean—one of the best pulls I’ve had in a while. Cookie was soft with melty chocolate chunks. The café is sleek and minimal, calm even during rush hour. Staff were sharp but not cold. Restroom was small but tidy and stocked. Nice little pit stop before the day really started. "I had a feeling it would be fantastic when I saw the line stretching out the door, with people waiting in the scorching sun. It's not a traditional sit-down place; rather, they have standing bar top counters for you to eat at. The menu is displayed on the walls. While the price per taco is on the higher side, I noticed they are very generous with the meat compared to places like Chipotle. The only reason I didn't give this place a full five stars is that I believe great customer service is essential. In my opinion, the service was lacking. I understand it was the lunch rush, but the cashier seemed rushed and unwelcoming. After you pay, you hand your receipt to the cooks, who then ask if you want corn or flour tortillas and what toppings you'd like. One of the cooks, whose name I didn’t catch, was the exception—he was friendly and even made jokes with us. I will definitely return for the delicious food, and I hope that next time the staff will be friendlier when it’s not so busy."

"This restaurant is a fantastic spot for happy hour and for having a great time! The pool tables offer plenty of space to play, and the music is fantastic. The food is really delicious; I highly recommend trying the wings and the fries. The wings are perfectly crispy and flavorful. The drinks are made with care, and our server was attentive in keeping them coming. She was extremely friendly and had great recommendations. It was a perfect way to spend a Sunday night. The customer service here is top-notch."

"I instantly fell in love with this restaurant when I tried their freshly baked blueberry scones - so delicious! The chai tea was also amazing, but what really stood out was the excellent customer service. There was a small issue with one of the paintings, but the staff quickly resolved it. Thank you for a great experience, Josh and Mia! I might just have to stop by again tomorrow morning for another scone while I'm in town. I wish I could visit this place more often, but I travel frequently and am not always in the neighborhood. However, if I am...I forgot to mention the decor is also very captivating!"

"We 've been to A La Mode three times (once for a birthday party) and the first two times were amazing. The third time though I was really surprised (and disappointed) by the level of customer service. The shop has two walls in the front side rooms covered in toys, 60% of which are at eye level for the kids. We were there with a friend and our kids got down a few toys to look at and play with but the worker came in flustered at seeing the toys down and was passive aggressive to the boys which they didn 't pick up on (thankfully) but he seemed unreasonably stressed at the situation so maybe it was a rough day.He gruffly told the kids they needed to put everything back and said Yeah and we really shouldn 't be touching anything unless you 're buying it. and not in a nice way.......which if that is the policy then they really should haven 't the toys *right at the kids ' eye level* AND they should have a sign. The other mom and I helped bring the toys back to the shelf and he took the toys saying Ugh, I 'll just ugh TAKE them... Excuse me? What I would have appreciated is a more kid friendly and less condescending attitude even just Hey friends, we 're going to put all these toys back, who can help? It 's not hard to be nice...to CHILDREN...in an ice cream shop...full of toys."

"It is rare for someone to have such a wonderful experience that it compels them to change their habits. Since moving to NYC, I have stuck with the same cafes. However, after my first visit to Dell'Aria, I am convinced that it is now my new go-to spot. The atmosphere at Dell'Aria is one of the most pleasant and welcoming I have ever experienced in a cafe. It was bustling but not chaotic, lively but not overwhelming, and the quality of the food and drinks was top-notch without breaking the bank. It would be hard to find a better coffee experience in East Harlem, or even the rest of NYC for that matter. I am already looking forward to my next visit."

"Second time visiting here for my gf and my anniversary. Absolutely loved it!!! Only Michelin 2 stars that I would come back time and time again and leave with surprises. Excellent fusion of Korean and French with talented and creative ideas. All of the dishes keep the good balance of tradition and innovation. We got served by multiple waiters who are professional and elegant. One has offered a secret menu cocktail omijarita, I ordered twice and he gave me a free"

"My partner and I decided to dine at USC last night without a reservation and were lucky enough to snag a table. We were warmly welcomed by Monique, the Sommelier, who first treated us to a glass of USC's own Tassin, which we found to be absolutely delightful. Monique then introduced us to a vintage Billecart-Salmon Cuvee that truly impressed us. To cap off our evening, she suggested a remarkable Madeira that was the best I've ever tasted. Michael guided us through the menu and made some excellent recommendations for our meal. Chris, the manager, made sure everything was perfect before we left. Thank you USC for a fantastic dining experience! - Will Phyl from Whitestone"

"Sommelier was wonderful. Unfortunately that was the only thing. Service was extremely slow despite being at 20% occupancy. Whoever was in charge of filleting and removing the bones from the Dover Sole must have been his first time doing it. Every bite had a bone in it. Mentioned it to waiter who did not seem to care and did nothing about it."

"The food was outstanding, creative, flavorful and good portions The service was not good. We waiting long just to get menus, and 45 minutes to get our apps. the waiter was not informed about the ingredients, if you have an dietary restrictions this is not the place to go. We special ordered simple sautéed vegetables and they brought two plates vs one and charged us $46"

"Great ambiance and service. The food is mediocre. Breakfast and brunch is much better than dinner. The escargots are good, but hard to screw that up. Beet salad was nice, with an appropriately smelly bleu cheese and poached apples. The onion soup is good, but not as good as everyone raves. I felt the soup itself was so overpowered by the large amount of cheese they put in it. I much prefer an onion soup to have a good amount of caramelized onion, but this certainly lacked that, felt almost like a cheese stew. If that's your thing, go for it. The steak a poivre was highly disappointing. It was cooked to medium rare, perfectly. Unfortunately they're clearly using inferior meat and not preparing it well. It was incredibly tough and chewy. Not a hint of marbling in it, so despite being medium rare, it also felt incredibly dry. Served with fries which were standard, but nothing to write home about. The spinach with it was overly salty. I was excited about dessert. But let down again. The caramelized banana ricotta tart had bruleed banana and delicious banana ice cream. The tart itself was rather dry even with that. The apple tarte tatin was good, but again, the base was hard and dry. Difficult to even cut (we were only provided a spoon, which should normally be fine). The wine (house and by the glass) was all mediocre. The service was great."

"We chose American Cut as a fancy dinner to celebrate my sister getting engaged. Our reservation was for 8pm and we didn't get seated until about 9:15 during the wait we were allowed to sit in the bar area which was extremely noisy with lots of happy hour bros (seriously, not a woman in sight lol) but they were kind enough to comp us our first round of drinks while we waited. Once seated in the dining room the noise level was much more tolerable. They brought out some everything bagel biscuits with a delicious butter and they were so good we requested another round. We ordered steaks which were pretty good. I ordered the best mashed potatoes of my life (I think called pureed potatoes Robuchon on the menu) and everyone else was really pleased with their sides as well. We were also given the steak tartare appetizer for free which was great and at the end we were given a salted caramel dessert for free even though we declined dessert menus. All in all, we were there for 3.5 hours which was way longer than we expected but the restaurant was extremely generous with making it worth our while with little freebies and also all the food we ordered was very good. It's also located only about a block from T Swift's Tribeca apartment in case that sort of thing matters to you!"

"This restaurant has a Micheline star and it is easy to see why. The service was professional and polished, yet also warm and helpful. The food was innovative, delicious, and beautifully presented. I had the roast chicken with purple cauliflower a pedestrian sounding dish but is was anything but. In addition to being the best tasting chicken I can remember, the plate was gorgeous! The wine list is extensive and well constructed, with some interesting lower cost options and some exciting high end delights. We brought a special bottle from my cellar as our dinner was a birthday celebration and it was served graciously and carefully. The corkage fee, although high, was not out of line given the quality of the restaurant and the cost of the lower end bottles on this list. Deserts were as intriguing as the other areas of the menu the only problem being what they likely did to my waistline as I couldn't bear to leave any behind, which I usually do with desert."

"This was one the last places on my list of Manhattan steakhouses to try and it did not disappoint. I loved the ambiance. Some might say it’s dated by I appreciate the classic style and decor. If you’re bringing the kids don’t sit in a booth unless you’re cool with all of the pin up era nudity, which I am. My friend and I ordered the porterhouse for 2, goose fat potatoes, drunken mushrooms, black truffle creamed spinach. I’m generally not a fan of peppercorn crust but they only do 1 side so I figured it wouldn’t be too overwhelming and went with the flow. It was perfect. Everything was perfect. The goose fat potatoes were the crispiest I have ever had. Overall I wouldn’t say that the appetizer or dessert selections were too enticing. I would have liked bacon but the way it was prepared seemed very excessive so I skipped it. It seemed more like bacon for people who don’t want to taste the bacon. The bananas foster baked Alaska was interesting. My friend was blown away by it so I guess we will just agree to disagree. It wasn’t bad I just didn’t personally love it. I will definitely be revisiting."

"Another fantastic experience at Asuka! The restaurant was busy, so we opted to sit outside which turned out to be perfect. The service was exceptional and the food, as always, was top-notch. David, the manager, was friendly and helpful despite the crowds. The entire staff mirrored David's friendliness. We love coming back here again and again. Thank you to everyone for another wonderful evening and delicious meal!"

"This place is one for the books! I reserved this place to have my birthday dinner and I'm happy that I did, we even luck up and found a parking space in front of the restaurant. This place is beautiful and has an old school mob type vibe, not the people just the decor. The staff was cool, nothing above and beyond that stood out but no flaws to point out as well. The guy who controlled the operations of the restaurant knows what he's doing and stopped by each table to greet each guest when they were seated, after the food was served and before we exited. He kept himself moving and I respect that! Now on to the best part and that is the FOOD! We started with the margarita flat bread which was fresh and delicious each ingredient had its own individual flavor that blended so well together. It tastes like it was made by an Italian grandmother. The truffle fries were really good and had enough truffle oil so that you can smell and taste it on the fries. THE BRANZINO was absolutely delicious that butter sauce and those capers. The grilled branzino was cooked to perfection, even the peas that came with it were good and I don't even like peas lol. And the last but surely not least the skillet cinnamon roll, put it this way after eating this cinnamon roll you just up your standards on how a cinnamon roll should taste. It was flaky soft and fully cooked so no dough like texture or flavor. Watch my check ins for this place I'm going to become a regular lol."
