"Tried Sugarfire today for a late lunch. When walking in the place is clean and cool looking. Nice decor. Nice layout. Wasn 't expecting a place where you walk into a service counter and have to stand in line trying to read the menu. Was expecting more of a sit down restaurant. Lots of choices. I went with the special they had listed. The Chimichurri burger. It was a burger with chimichurri sauce and a pork rind with pickled red onions and a mayo style sauce. For the side I got the spicy fried brussels sprouts and added a caprese salad. I don 't get bbq much but was surprised at the price. The burger and 2 small sides were over $20. Once they bring your food over the first thing you notice is the giant plate with a little food on it. The burger looked good. Was well cooked. The chimmi sauce was good the patty was small. The side of fried brussel sprouts were burnt to a crisp. It was literally a little paper tray of burnt sprouts leaves. The caprese salad was cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls in a sweet balsamic glaze. Not bad. I also tried a couple pieces of their brisket and Texas hot bbq sauce which is not hot at all in my opinion. The brisket was good. Not great not bad. Overall it was $70 tip for 3 of us. The brisket plate. 2 meat plate and the burger with an extra side and 2 waters. Wasn 't bad but I left still hungry and unsatisfied. 6.5/10"

Love Sugarfire. We first went learned about it in St. Louis, and looked to see if we there were any in Colorado. We had to come and it didn't disappoint. We love the environment. It feels like going to a brewery with the outside and games, but a BBQ spot. The food was delicious and we'd go back.

The food was great, but the staff clearly weren't enthusiastic about being there. Had to repeat parts of our order multiple times, and after they brought us our food, the employee realized part of my combo was missing and said he would grab the item but never did. Reminded him after about 20 minutes and had to take it to go. All in all still worth a visit! View menu

Very good BBQ and the burger that my wife had was so good that she talked to the cook about how well it was cooked to her exact specifications...and she has never done that. Having locally made soda's were a welcome treat as well, instead of the mainstream Pepsi/Coke products. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. We will go back for more.

Alright, I’m new to town, moving from from Austin TX, so my barbecue bar is high. But, aside from the food being mediocre brisket was mostly fat), they got our order wrong, and delivered it to the wrong table where it sat for a while. The burger didn’t have the cheese or toppings we ordered. The sauces are too sweet. Employees looked bored/beaten down. I hope this isn’t the best barbecue around

We order from here regulary (either dine in or take out) and it's always a good experience. The bbq is really good, we always get the ribs when we can. The sides are also fantastic. Our son loves the mac and cheese and our daughter can't get enough of the ribs. They have a good selection of sauces that can appease just about anyone. We also love the fact they have a small bar and the fountain drinks are from a local company versus the typical Pepsi or Coke brands. Prices are also reasonable and most of the time there's enough food to last us two meals. View menu

my wife and I ate here because we went to a Westminster chamber to help promote the sugarfire smokehouse. they had a small social mixer at the bar and the beer selection was very good? and we could not help but order food because it smells so good in the building. I ordered the Brisket sandwich, drilling, coleslaw, kartoffelsalat in the Relish mix, my wife had a minced sandwich and drilling. the flesh and the bores were the best I tasted for a long time, we met liz, the manager and she asked our meal. we also tried the Keylime pipe that was delicious. we will go back later for another round.

I had a lot of visiting here disappointed too pleasantly surprised. finally decided to evaluate them after the better stops. I came for a daily special that is only advertised on instagram and facebook. there are occasions in the past when they either offer nothing or simply do not advertise them online. some have disappointed me, but today? they offered a smoked turkey sandwich with red pfeffer jelly and fried cheese and one side by side. while the cheese curds did a little over and there was not much jam make it a bit dry, it was loaded with a lot of truthahn. they offer many different sides and I choose the loaded kartoffels. the side was a bit small in three bits away. if they go for reg...

"So I suppose it's up to the manager of a restaurant whether to replace a returned entree at no extra charge the customer for the uneaten food. Whatever the policy at Sakana (we didn't ask when we saw the item in question added to our bill, we didn't feel like getting into an argument), we still found the attitude of the server when my girlfriend didn't enjoy her spicy miso ramen to be unacceptable. Instead of simply offering a replacement when my girlfriend explained that she couldn't taste any miso in the broth, the lady server told us that the miso ramen tasted as intended and that adding more paste to the broth would make it too salty. It still didn't taste very good, but whatever. Fine. My gf orders the curry ramen instead. It's pretty decent, nothing to write home about. At the end of the meal, we get charged full price for the spicy miso even tho all she ate of it was the egg added at additional cost. Did not mention this before the bill came out. We probably would've moved on without complaint if we hadn't been talked down to when trying to replace the order or had the return policy more clearly explained to us. Will not be coming back due to this experience. I've been to better and more expensive restaurants that return and replace an entree, no questions asked, especially when -you didn't eat it-. I've had $50 steaks taken back without being charged, but you're gonna die on the hill of your watery $15 ramen? No thx. The food, for the most part, is okay. My tonkutsu ramen broth was acceptable, tho my pork was overcooked. My gf's replacement curry ramen was better than the spicy miso, but it was not great. It did have tasty fried chicken, but very few other ingredients besides noodles and spinach. She wasn't so into it. Where the cuisine shines is the sushi. The fish tastes like it's well sourced and is adequately competitive for the price range. We didn't love the ramen experience, but we were actually considering coming back just for the sushi before we saw that they'd charged us for the returned food. The shrimp shumai appetizer was tasty but a little skimpy on the portions, four tiny dumplings for $8 or $9. Ultimately, Sakana is worth going to if you just want sushi and don't mind a somewhat cramped and loud atmosphere during peak hours and a snooty attitude from the staff. I'd have added more stars if not for the service experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Nigiri"
