"I hope this message finds you well. As someone who has been making pizza with an Ooni pizza oven for years, I wanted to take a moment to share my experience at your restaurant. Unfortunately, the pizza dough I purchased was extremely disappointing—perhaps the worst I've ever worked with. I noticed that many of your other reviews present a different picture, which makes me wonder what the in-person experience might be like if this is how you handle online feedback. While I can appreciate that the food in the valley is generally decent, especially compared to places like Aspen, I was truly hoping for better with the dough. When I ordered, I was told it needed to be prepared, and I paid $30 for four dough balls with the expectation that they would be of good quality, especially considering how incredible your pizzas look. I returned to my campsite excited to impress my friends, but as I started working with the dough, I quickly realized I had made a mistake. It felt more like a mixture of just flour and water, lacking any fermentation. It was disheartening to see that what I received was far from the advertised “homemade dough.” My friends were let down, and I felt quite foolish, having spent $30 on something that didn't meet expectations. I truly love supporting local businesses, and as a Colorado native, I cherish the valley's offerings. However, I must say that this experience left me feeling quite disappointed. I hope you take this feedback to heart, as I believe there’s potential for improvement. Wishing you all the best, [Your Name]"

"I can't say enough about Free Range. It's my favorite restaurant in the valley, hands down. Walking in the restaurant, it is beautifully decorated with rustic and modern. They are always greeted with a smile, whether it is by the owners, Robin Steve or one of the friendly waiters. Usually we sown up to the bar and love to talk to Sean who makes our night with his stories and all to good moods. Everything here is always fresh and ingeniously made by her talented chef Chris. I work for a global hospitality company and have been lucky to taste a lot of food from different cooks from anywhere, but Chef Chris still makes some of the best dishes I've ever tasted. If they have specials GO FOR THEM! Yesterday evening we had Ahi Tuna Tartare about fresh guacamole with crispy sommes chips to start a truffle artichoke flatcake. For the main dish I had the scallops that were delivered freshly to the restaurant this day and served a tip of the pure celery root, chioggia beets and crispy chips. I almost licked the plate. And the dessert... I still dream. A steaming hot cast iron-ironing cookie with Musella ice cream and salted caramel-drozzle. Gotcha. One last thing, if you are a wine lover, you have found the right place. Owner Steve has unbeatable knowledge and experience in the wine industry. The restaurant also hosts monthly wine dinners. You need to visit Free Range. It is obvious that the amount of hard work love was placed in this place. I can't wait to go back!"

"We called to make a reservation for 6 people more than an hour earlier, but when we arrived on time there was no available table for 6, and they didn’t try to combine tables to fit 6 because there was no enough space and it would block other tables. Not sure why they couldn’t tell us that when we called. The lady offered us to sit one of her 4 people tables. We were starving so we didn’t complain but we had to help ourselves moving chairs and utensils. You can tell if we felt welcome.Regarding the food, duck spring rolls, duck breast red curry, and chicken satay are good. 2 stars for those. Pad Thai and drunken noodles don’t taste authentic though. Both are sweet and sour flavored and taste differently than most other Thai places anywhere. We ordered 3 orders of drunken noodles. 1 extra spicy and 2 mild. 2 of us ordered mild because usually drunken noodles are super hot, but in the end all 3 ordered tasted similarly without any spicy flavor. Even the extra spicy one tasted sweet and sour without hot flavor. I’m not sure if it’s their recipe or they were just being lazy and didn’t want to make an extra spicy one. Anyway pad Thai and drunken noodles are below average.Edit:I just saw the owner’s response and I think it failed to answer my 3 questions as a customer. First is why they can’t be transparent about the limited seating space when we called in advance. Second is why they left us moving the seats and utensils without offering to help. Third is why they agreed to make us the extra spicy drunken noodle but delivered it as mild as our mild orders. I get it they have their secret recipe, but it still doesn’t make extra spicy similar to mild in flavor. And yes to dear owner’s suggestion: Panda Express does suit my taste better, not because you profiled me as a Chinese (maybe that’s the reason for cold attitude during the dinner? truly not sure why), but because it serves food in similar quality of yours but charges way less."
