"The food was excellent, but the service was terrible. Five of us entered the restaurant and were completely ignored. Despite there being only one other occupied table, it took 20 minutes for someone to come over and take our order. We were about to leave when they finally attended to us. They claimed they were in the middle of a shift change, but based on their conversations, it seemed unlikely. As Hispanic customers, we overheard them speaking Spanish to each other, using phrases like "hola" and "denada." Our orders were eventually taken, but the waitress only checked on us once and never refilled our drinks. When we received the bill, it came out to over $100. We were very disappointed with the treatment we received and do not recommend this restaurant at all."

If you are seeking a spot to relax with a drink and interact with a welcoming bartender, this may not be the place for you. It seems to cater more to regulars, so we do not plan on returning.

I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant, it was amazing. The staff made sure we enjoyed everything, with great service, especially from a girl named Ava and the bartender named Ann or Anne. I also love the location and all the pictures on the walls. View menu

The food, service and value were surprisingly good at the local pub. I had a blue cheese and bacon wedge salad that was easily enough for two and topped with generous servings of bacon and blue cheese. Local beers on tap are served in overly large frozen goblets. I would highly recommend!

We were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon Brick Pony because it was conveniently located near our motel. We love pub food and enjoy sitting at the bar, so we decided to give it a try. We were highly impressed with the service, our bartender was excellent. We ordered the fish and chips as well as the fish tacos, both dishes were generous in size and reasonably priced for Basalt. Our meal was delicious and we had no complaints about the fries or any other aspect of our food. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to town.
