"I have been a regular at Ny Grill Deli for over a year. The previous team—Ali, Ralphy, Naseem, and Abraham—provided excellent customer service and understood the community well. If there was ever an issue with the food, they addressed it quickly. Depending on the cook, your order could either be a miss or a delicious treat that kept me coming back.
However, things have changed recently. The store is now under new management, and none of the familiar faces are around. Prices have skyrocketed, with some charges seeming completely arbitrary. For example, they tried to charge $5 for a gallon of water! My regular breakfast sandwich, which used to cost $3.50 (consistent with other spots in NYC, including this deli under the old management), is now $5. They've also raised the minimum order for delivery, frustrating many locals.
I used to visit this deli daily but now only make it in a few times a month at most. For grocery needs, I’ve switched to the store across the street, which may not be as fancy but offers fair prices and friendly service. (As of July 2022, Ny Grill Deli unfortunately burned down and is currently being rebuilt.)"
