"I have been a regular at Ny Grill Deli for over a year. The previous team—Ali, Ralphy, Naseem, and Abraham—provided excellent customer service and understood the community well. If there was ever an issue with the food, they addressed it quickly. Depending on the cook, your order could either be a miss or a delicious treat that kept me coming back. However, things have changed recently. The store is now under new management, and none of the familiar faces are around. Prices have skyrocketed, with some charges seeming completely arbitrary. For example, they tried to charge $5 for a gallon of water! My regular breakfast sandwich, which used to cost $3.50 (consistent with other spots in NYC, including this deli under the old management), is now $5. They've also raised the minimum order for delivery, frustrating many locals. I used to visit this deli daily but now only make it in a few times a month at most. For grocery needs, I’ve switched to the store across the street, which may not be as fancy but offers fair prices and friendly service. (As of July 2022, Ny Grill Deli unfortunately burned down and is currently being rebuilt.)"

Sometimes the shop is a little too packed and the staff has a tough time keeping customers in line. The food is good. The chopped cheese is one of the best in the city. View menu

Many people have voiced concerns about delivery times, but since I live close by, I can only comment on the food quality and the staff. This place feels more suited for walk-ins and doesn’t seem to have dedicated delivery personnel, which is to be expected from a neighborhood bodega. The employees are genuinely nice, and I visit regularly because it’s a popular spot for locals seeking a consistently good meal at a reasonable price. You can count on getting a quick service, a tasty deli sandwich, and friendly faces from your community. Personally, I love the chop cheese, chicken cheese steak, chicken salad hero, and their paninis.

I wouldn’t recommend ordering delivery from Ny Grill Deli. My order was supposed to arrive between 9:40 PM and 9:50 PM, but by 10:10 PM it still hadn’t shown up. When I called to check, the staff said the order was out for delivery and that they would contact the driver and call me back—but they never did. After I called again, they told me the order would be delayed. I confirmed I still wanted it, and was reassured it was on the way. However, just five minutes later, they called to cancel the order because no delivery staff were available. When I pointed out the contradiction, since they had just said it was on its way, they said the delivery bike had broken down. Overall, the whole experie...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
