"Teays Valley has always been my favorite KFC, but it has taken a turn for the worse since a new manager took over—at least, that's what she claims to be. The experience has gone downhill; she is incredibly rude, and her assistant is even more disrespectful. I had an issue after I received a thigh and leg instead of the breast I ordered, and when I raised my concerns, he tried to lie to me, saying that was what I had ordered. I always get the same meal, and my receipt clearly shows that I ordered the right items. It was incredibly frustrating dealing with someone who seems unprofessional. I would recommend avoiding the Teays Valley location and suggesting St. Albans instead; it might offer a better experience."

"Got KFC for myself and a soda for my coworker today, my other co worker got it delivered through Door Dash, both of us got the famous bowls. Both myself and the coworker I got the soda for were in the bathroom multiple times afterwards, and it continued once I got home as well. The coworker who order and had it delivered had to throw her chicken away because it was raw. I’m assuming, since her chicken was raw, that mine was as well and I have the blessing of either food poisoning or salmonella.You know something is wrong when two separate orders are bad and a soda can make somebody sick!!!"

"Despite the challenges, the drive-thru line extended out to the street, and there were numerous lobby orders, leaving only the manager and one other employee to handle everything. They both did an outstanding job! I had already placed my order online, so I got to witness them in action while I waited. It was impressive to see them handle the workloads of four people with such efficiency! The manager was fantastic, and even though I could see they were under stress, they still made me and another customer feel appreciated. These employees truly deserve recognition for their hard work! This amazing service occurred around 7:45 PM on Friday, December 17th, 2021. I hope the upper management takes note of their performance and rewards them accordingly! Plus, the food was delicious, hot, and fresh!"

"During my wait for my order, I observed multiple customers, both in the drive-through and dining area, expressing dissatisfaction with incorrect orders. After about 15 to 20 minutes, a staff member informed me that they were out of mashed potatoes—something I hadn’t ordered in the first place. Strangely, no one had arrived after me to place an order. I overheard the manager instructing the staff to "stop taking orders; there’s just too much going on." At one point, a worker entered the lobby and locked the doors, while another outside began turning away cars waiting in the drive-through. After another lengthy 20-minute wait, I finally received my order: 8 pieces of chicken, 2 coleslaws, and biscuits—not at all what I had originally requested! When I asked for a correction, I was given a small fry instead and told they were out of gravy. The only substitute they offered was corn, and they flatly refused to refund my money. The management at this establishment is truly lacking!"

"I’m not sure how KFC is still in business, to be honest. Yum Brands would likely be better off without it in their portfolio. The restaurant was reasonably clean, which is a pleasant surprise for an Arizona KFC. However, I was disappointed to find that mac and cheese was missing from the menu; that used to be their best offering. We tried the Cheeto chicken sandwich, but it didn’t live up to expectations—it tasted just like a plain chicken sandwich. There were only about three to five Cheetos on it. The sauce had no flavor at all, which was strange, and we even had to ask for ketchup, making the whole experience feel awkward. As for the new Mountain Dew, it tastes like a mix of Sunny D and Sprite, and I found it quite off-putting."

"First off KFC has been a family favorite since I was a kid. This last experience at this location was horrible. My son and I ordered popcorn nuggets with Mac n cheese. We were advised no popcorn nuggets due to a shipment not coming in. Then I commented no famous bowl either right. He said we have enough for a famous bowl. I was so excited and ordered the combo. My son ordered chicken tenders with Mac n cheese and then was advised no Mac n cheese. He was bummed but quickly got over it. He settles for fries. Took us forever to get our cups. The guy walked away and didn't come back. Finally our order came up. My son's combo looked ok. His biscuit was really dark and hard as a rock but he doesn't eat them anyway. I opened up my famous bowl. It had 5 nuggets a very small scoop of potatoes and way too much gravy and no cheese. I took it back to the counter and waited a long time before I just said no loudly doesn't the famous bowl come with cheese The gentleman that took the order said oh yeah like he forgot. I asked for a refund. I also didn't even get a cookie. Super disappointed and no one even said sorry or looked like they cared. I'm in customer service and empathy goes a long way."

"The Bristol KFC has a Buffet! KFC locations with buffets are popular in the Southern and Midwest states, but are a rare find in the Northeast. There are a few KFC locations in CT and ME which still offer the buffet at a reasonable price. Where I live in NH, there are plenty of KFCs where I can go for that finger lickin ' goodness but none of them have a buffet. There used to be several KFC locations in Upstate NY which offered the Buffet back in the 1990s including in Guilderland and Poughkeepsie, both are now closed. This KFC location is located on US 6 next to Yankee Harley Davidson. This restaurant with drive-thru offers the standard KFC menu items, fill-up boxes, combos, plus the AYCE Buffet for $6.79 (adults , $5.39 (seniors , $4.29 (kids 4-12 and $2.99 (kids 3 under , dine-in only, prices in 2016. The buffet hours are 11AM to 8PM. On Sun-Wed, the AYCE Buffet is $6.49 with small fountain drink included. The Pepsi fountain drinks are self-serve. I made a special trip to the Bristol KFC for a mid-afternoon Sunday lunch, so I could get the AYCE Buffet, which I haven 't had in over a year. The AYCE Buffet with a Small Drink, which came out to $6.90 with tax, on special. I was given a soda cup and styrofoam dinner plate and bowl. Help myself! The AYCE Buffet is setup at the counter past the registers, which offers a decent selection of hot and cold items including original fried chicken, extra crispy fried chicken, grilled chicken, BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, Kentucky baked beans with pulled chicken, green beans, carrots peas, niblet corn, mac cheese, chicken noodle soup, biscuits, macaroni salad, potato salad, cole slaw, cottage cheese, lettuce, dressing packets, pickle slices, chocolate pudding, vanilla pudding, bread pudding and more. You 're given plastic plate(s after you pay then help yourself. Ask for a clean styrofoam plate bowl on return trips to the buffet. The food was the standard tasty and filling KFC fare, nothing fancy. The buffet was stocked minimally during the mid-afternoon. The vegetables were very soft which were sitting in very hot water for a while. The lettuce was barely fresh. The fried chicken on the buffet was pretty good, which was replenished during my visit. The restaurant dining room and even the men 's restroom was remarkably clean. I wish the Buffet was brought back to more KFC locations in the northeast (NH? , but I 'd probably make it a habit to eat at KFC more than I already do now. 3 STAR rating is based on the food."

"Stopped there on 9/10 for a quick drive thru around 530 pm to grab some chicken tenders, wasn 't too busy, maybe a couple cars in parking lot, 2 cars ahead of us, you 'd of thought there was at least 6 cars ahead of us as we waited 15 minutes to get to the teller, when we got there we were told one minute please well about almost another 5 minutes I decided no thank you, I said hello to the teller, no answer we drove off, there was at least 3 cars behind us now we were gone, the poor lady ahead of us was still sitting at the window when we turned around at the stop lights to get back on the highway. "If I could give this place a zero rating, I absolutely would. I ordered an 8-piece serving of breast meat only, and the manager took my order at the drive-thru. I waited over 15 minutes for freshly cooked chicken, but when I finally received my meal, it was a bucket full of spoiled chicken. I paid $45 for this, and I am not only furious but will also be contacting the health department first thing on Monday morning. I visited on Friday, October 13, 2023, and while the pot pie and sides were great, that chicken was completely unacceptable. You're putting people's health at risk by serving potentially contaminated food! What is wrong with you? In this economy, treating customers like this is disgraceful. Someone needs to take responsibility for this, and it shouldn't be the same people who served me that spoiled food."
